  2. Awesome build!!
  3. Thanks to you all! I really appreciate the kind words.
  4. Thanks guys, but I can't take credit for the design. I used the rendering below as inspiration and added my own touches.
  5. Thanks Dave. I remember those conversions back in the day, but plastic allows us to go beyond what's available and just imagineer!
  6. Thanks Mike!
  7. Thanks so much everyone. Corvairs have such nice lines I just tried to enhance the look without destroying those lines.
  8. Thanks so much Glen!
  9. Thanks Stuart!

Excellent weathering! I love all the little extra detail. Very well done.

  15. Very nice!
  16. Maybe. This is a pic of a 1964 Ford F700. Looks pretty close.
  17. I agree. The rails on yours seem a tad wider. I was afraid that if I ground it to match there wouldn't be much "meat" left.
  18. Nice project! For the chassis, I bought a printable file for a similar one but 3 piece for a project I'm planning. The center section is square like yours and I designed and printed one that narrows to fit the angular body of the F-100. How do you plan to make yours fit? Grinding/sanding?
  19. I hope you didn't leave it for long, that stuff will soften resins. For cleaning mold release you can just use a brush and clean it by hand (gloved). No need to soak it.
