  1. Nicely done!
  2. I agree with the proofreading issue, however I think that may not be the case here. I went to their site and selected a similar item. The first item below Is available "In store only", period. Meaning that this item is not shipped. Though I don't get why it can't be available for pickup. The second item is shipped and is also available in store and available for pickup. I don't go to Michaels for any paint because at my local store they don't even bother to sort the stuff. They just throw it in wherever it fits.
  3. Welcome!
  4. I dunno, we just do!! ?
  5. I printed this Crosley body from a free file on Cults3d with some alterations I made prior to printing it. Now I need to grind out the wheel wells to fit the slicks, and figure out the body mounts. The chassis is from the Mooneyes dragster kit. I had to design some adapters to move the rear wheels to behind the driver to make it work in this config tho. I also need to narrow the front axle. The engine will be the SBC from the kit but I'm not sure whether which blower setup I'll use, the upright or Potvin.
  6. Killer!!
  7. I started with TC and worked up to a std CAD program. https://www.tinkercad.com/dashboard/designs/3d Its fairly easy to use. You can also copy someone else's design and build off of it. There may be some vids on YouTube. There's also folks on Cults3D that sell files specifically for FDM printing.
  8. Cool! I must say I've never seen that kit before. Well done.
  9. Its good if they're using resin, but most libraries only have FDM because they don't have fumes and are considered safe.
  10. Well done!
  11. Actually yesterday, but anyway: I started on this V8 Custom Corvair build in 2020 and botched the paint so I shelved it. Now I'm back on it and close to completion. Paint is on and ready for some light buffing and adding accessories.
  12. I would not recommend full strength PP. I had a part destroyed by it, though I soaked it for a day. I've had a few resins as well, but all I've ever used was Dawn dish detergent with a brush and never had any issues. All you're trying to do is remove the mold release agent, which anything that cuts grease will do. Never used powdered cleanser but I'm sure it does the job, too.
  13. Interesting! I've never seen that before. Do you have the latest Chitubox? I have V2.1. You can also try it in another slicer. I use Lychee mostly.
  14. Nice build!
  15. Nice work!
  16. May be something in your settings, I also have no problems with either the sign-in, or Messages and Notifications icons on Firefox.
  17. Its a great resource, but it does have gaps in years depending on the state. If you don't care what state you can check another state for the year you want.
  18. First, my disclaimer: I'm not a customizing expert! ? Personally I like the look. Purists may have a prob with it but to me it flows well. I do think the look would be enhanced if it sat lower, and I agree that the rear wheel could move in a tad. Try putting a piece of tape primed with the same color over the gap in the front fender to see how it looks. I think it is visually distracting. You may also want to try different wheel sets to see how they look. Thanks for sharing your work.
  19. To me that looks like a good subject for scratch building. Its has a fairly simple design made of mostly simple geometric shapes. The only issue is the carbs, which you can probably trade for.
  20. Very unique build! I've seen 1:1's similar, but never a model. Well done!
  21. I think its more common that some like to admit. Take for instance flocking, and like David G. showed, interior detail. Here is the interior on my 50 Olds that I flocked and detailed the steering wheel. You can't see that on the shelf.
  22. I've cobbled together a couple from parts box parts. Its hard to make them universal. The attachment points are different, and the wheel to wheel distance is different. I also designed one in CAD for 3D printing. Its designed so that you can use wire for the tie rod ends for adjustment. If you know someone that would print it for you you can download it here for free. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/front-suspension-set
