Thanks Steve. That's a resin hood from Lex on eBay. It was a little warped and wouldn't sit fully straight so I added four rare earth magnets to each corner and to the body so it sits a bit better. You can see the rear ones on the engine pic.

I put a new Hemi in it and did a lot of the typical restomod changes. I know some of you don't like the low profile tires so please lets not rehash that. With that said they came from a DC.

Nicely done! I did the long box before the reissue too but made it day 2. I like your weathering though.

Light mist Alclad chrome over black until you get the look you want, then seal it with a water-based clear.

My issue with the Hot Wheels theme is that that it goes against the theme of the race. They typically are over the top customs designed to be "out there", and grab attention. You'll get stopped every five miles by the troopers just for visibility. I think the Hot Wheels theme should be a build-off of its own.

Awesome work! That's the first time I've seen that top from the kit used and you did it justice. I have that kit I bought partially built. While not exactly a glue bomb, it has some issues. I've had it several years but seeing yours brings the itch to get it done.
