  1. Thanks Dave. I appreciate that. I spent this morning and will be spending more mornings wet sanding and polishing the body out. Hopefully I can wrap that part up by the end of the week so I can start working on exterior trim and details.
  2. Which ever way you go I'm sure it'll turn out really good JC but I've gotta say that I'm a big fan of your original idea. Just a meaner/ more aggressive look. But that's just my
  3. I can't tell you how many of these I worked on when I first started working in General Motors dealerships back in the 90's but it was a lot. Neat looking cars but I sure hated working on them. lol. I didn't know there were any Fiero kits out there. Will be peeking in on this build for sure Andre.
  4. This is just somethin' else. Can't begin to tell you what a brilliant job you have done so far Steve. Rock on brutha!!
  5. Thanks Adam, Jim and Jeremy. Sometimes I wished that I could just stop at building engines as its my favorite part of auto builds..................hell it's my favorite part of aircraft builds as well for that matter. lol I installed the engine / xmsn assy this morning and checked out the stance again with the spare body in place. I should be receiving my silver bearing solder in the next day or so and will get started on the exhaust system. Looks like it's back to sanding and polishing and all the piddly stuff from here. Still need to drop 'er in the back a smidgen ................
  6. Looks like I've gotta acquire this kit then. What's the box art look like?
  7. Nice and tidy interior Geoff. Is that the OOB interior? I have the Street Demons version of this kit and it's got the big hole in the interior tub for the shifter and the overall look is primitive at best.
  8. Man that motor is a beauty Tim!! Is that one of those resin Holley 4 barrels from FAB? Everything looks super about the belt/ pulley arrangement except for the lack of tension on the main drive belt. Totally awesome stuff man.
  9. Outstanding workmanship thus far!!!!! I like builds like this because there's always so dang much to look at!!!! That T-shirt kills me!!
  10. Nice work on that Pinto! That was a blast following along on the build. Where'd you get those carburetors from? I think I've got some of the same.
  11. This is intense!!! Off the charts completely!!!!
  12. Thanks Mike. Preciate the good word from you as well Jim. Sorry to hear the blues on the house. Typical stuff in the world of real estate. Ok folks. I believe that the 396 is done enough to where I'm going to put it in the chassis and get started on the exhaust system. I temporarily installed the center section of the fan on the front of the front just for picture taking purposes and will remove it so I can use it on the backside of the other fan I have for a future build. N E ways..............here she is: And this one I throw in for all my friends at work. They always tell me that I have a giant clothespin hanging out in my garage.
  13. That's as smooth of a paint job as I've ever seen. Terrific work Geoff!
  14. Awesome build and I really enjoyed watching it come together.
  15. This is a fantastic idea for a build and it looks like you're doing wonders at pulling it all off. Definitely original!!!!!!
  16. Looks perfect so far!!!! I agree with Jim..............I won't even try it though. lol
  17. Man just look at that gloss shine!!!!!!! I always enjoy seeing your paint jobs come alive Tim!!! This is gonna be one sharp Camaro is all I've gotta say.
  18. Yep....................I'm in on this one!!! This is outstanding..............
  19. Glad to hear everything is working out so far James. I stayed in a hotel for an extended period once while looking for a place to live for my wife and I and felt like a fish out of water but knew that it wouldn't last forever. Hang in there pal.
  20. Thanks Steve and Jeremy. Just trying not to move too fast.
  21. Been there lots of times. Go slow and the right "feel" will come to you. Sometimes I'll stall out in a build because I don't feel right about it. Doesn't mean I quit or nuthin, I just go into a lot of thought about it and out of the blue it'll hit me like a sack of potatoes and then I'm off in a good direction and with renewed interest again. What you've got looks good so far though.
  22. Lotsa research going into this one there JC!! Another fabulous build in the works. I'll get the popcorn out..........................
  23. I like the whole idea and it looks good so far!!! keep it up Steve.
  24. Progress is slow as I've got a lot going on right now. My sister in law threw a connecting rod right through the side of the engine block on her Toyota so I've been working on that and fixing some of the other stuff that's wrong with the car. She's hell on wheels with automobiles. Just drives 'em till they quit (and it doesn't take that long) N E ways............. I've got the alternator wiring harness and throttle return spring installed this morning. I've also been working on the heater hoses and retaining clamps for those.
  25. Keep the progress coming bud. Lookin' swell so far.
