  1. Engine detail is just gorgeous Tim!! Love it man! Glad to see you back on this one.
  2. Awww cmon Mike! lol. It aint a waste bubba! It's another opportunity for more spare parts.
  3. Man that was just crazy! Looking forward to watching you work your magic here Mike.
  4. Thanks a lot guys. This clear coat outcome made me feel a lot better about this build as pretty much everything was hinging on it.
  5. Now that's a good lookin' paint job there Trent.
  6. Thanks Glenn and Carl. I've always liked these tires but never had the skills to make 'em look any better till lately. I shot the gloss coat on this morning and I really couldn't be happier about the outcome. I used MM "Wet Look" gloss coat and it'll dry like this. You can see the chameleon like effect on the lower parts of the body going from green to blue to purple. Now for the cure out...................
  7. Man that does look good Niko! At least I now know someone who builds at the same speed I do. Great work bud.
  8. Man I like that!! Lotsa work on that thang!!! You really know how to build a showstopper is all I've gotta say.
  9. Jeremy: Sanding sticks did the trick on these and thank you. Jim: Thank you bud.
  10. Mister you've got that right about the better Camaro kits these days. Loyalty prevails on this one though. lol Well folks I got the letters removed from the rear tires and polished up to an acceptable finish on the sidewalls, cleaned up the sidewalls on the front skinnies and sanded the tire tread on all fours. I used a couple of rim backers from my spare 41 Willy's kit and sanded them down so the edges would be flush with the tire sidewalls on the inside of the front wheel/ tire assys. Here's the before and after of that. OOB on the right and thinned down version on the left Here's the set up fellas. Lettering is gone from the rear tires. Ummm.................it looks like I've got some smoothing up to do on those wheel edges. . Good ol macro shots....you just can't beat 'em.
  11. Freekin' NICE!!!! Detail and paint work are right up there with the best. That aluminum air cleaner just puts the cherry on top of that motor.
  12. Nice color Jeremy. I'll have to keep that one in mind. Just keep forgetting the name of the color. (note to self .............Citrus Yellow!!!)
  13. Hang in there bro. You'll see it through. Sometimes it just seem like a good block of time just appears out of nowhere.
  14. Thanks Johnny. Ace: Thank you as well bud. I'm getting fired up to keep the progress up on this. I built pretty steady at the latter part of last week and over the weekend and before I knew it I had the chassis done. The stance is true to form as all the axles/ spindles are set where they are gonna be. And yeah..........it's skinnies all the way .
  15. Good to see you back on this one Declan.
  16. Thanks Eric. Got 'er saved into faves!!
  17. Haven't posted on this in a while and I see you build like I do. lololololol. I swear it takes me 9+ months to finish anything. Results are looking stellar Greg.
  18. Thanks Tim and the paint's coming along good so far. It's back on page 5 here. 'Preciate it Carl.
  19. Dang Eric!! I haven't commented much on this build as I haven't had much of a chance to get on the forums much as of late but I'm sure glad I stopped in to look at this one. I've gotta ask, are those fuel line retaining nuts at the carburetor from RB Motion or some where else? I haven't seen anything like that at RB motion and those look really good. Also what did you make your drive shaft out of? Looking forward to your reply and you're doing an outstanding job on this piece of art here, Joe
  20. Thanks James and Jim. I think I am gonna go with those skinnies after all.
  21. Man that is one sharp Challenger you've got yourself there Mike!!! That turned out spectacular after all the troubles you had with it there at the end!!! You pulled that one off nicely bud.
  22. Enjoyed following along on this build and also enjoyed the story Mike. Going over to have a look at the finished product now........................
  23. LOLOLOL!!! Thanks Jeremy. True.......this kit has been known to be horrible build as well as a horrible cartoon example of a Camaro. Ya know, the more I look at this photo..........the more I do wanna put skinnies on the front. Hey.........it's still streetable............right???!!
