  1. I had that effect going on with the front wheels on my truck. It was always a pain the rear to constantly wash or wipe the front wheels off due to all the brake lining dust from the standard pads. A set of ceramic pads later and I never had to worry about it again. Nice body work BTW.
  2. Thanks fellas! I'll be working on the interior color next.
  3. I remember reading about these 1:1 cars somewhere. I always found it interesting that ol' Willy managed to turn out a few cars as well. Good lookin' build with some great weathering effects there Chuck!
  4. Really lookin' good here John. lol. I can't get this car out of my head because it's so dang crazy! I do have a question for you though. What's your process for dealing with those two piece rear tires? I used a set of these and did the very best I could on 'em but I think I could improve on the next set. Just curious.
  5. Well after 3 attempts and strippings of the door panels I think I've finally got 'em down. I finished up the BMF job this morning on them.
  6. That's gotta be a good feelin' to make all of that planning work! Outstanding progress!
  7. Neato man! That stance is gonna be killer.
  8. I like the inline six idea as well. That's not bad progress at all considering all of what unexpected things that life throws at us during a week off. Believe me , I have an understanding of those "unwanted days off" concerning what looks like a lot of time to myself that quickly turns into a list of either "honey do's" or one problem after another that just pops up. Hang in there Rob. You're doin' great man.
  9. Great work on that Nova Tyler! What is that guy welding on over there? and What did you use for the welding light?
  10. Thanks for the encouragement Randy! Haven't made much forward progress over the last couple of days but hope to get something going this weekend.
  11. Thanks JC! I've been working on my PE electric cooling fan from Model Car Garage for the last few days and finally got it underway. I still need to run the electrical ckts to it but the base fan is completed. I'm also continuing work on my interior door panels which have given me a lot of grief. I've stripped them 4 times so far. Just wasn't happy with the way the paint was behaving. I used acrylic for the white inserts and after I applied the gloss coat to seal it all in the acrylic paint started cracking. Then it was a masking issue that looked really bad and then I had a paint boo boo that went bad when I was sanding to correct it. You know, the typical stuff. I used white primer this time around as a base coat so we'll see what happens this time round.
  12. I totally missed this cool John!! Glad you're back at the bench and looking forward to seeing you work your magic this one.
  13. Man Tyler! That paint finish looks great from here!!
  14. Fantastic and just short of unbelievable work Tyrone. I aint at this level of detail yet but I'm tryin'. Man this is good.
  15. From here it looks like that windshield is a perfect fit! What's your trick?
  16. Now that's one cool lookin' interior right there!!! Wow!! Love the dash work Dave!!!!
  17. Looks good so far John. I'd be interested in seeing how that gloss works out. Judging by those keys sitting there to the left of that gloss clear can I'd say somebody's in the car business.
  18. Verrrrry nice!
  19. That's pretty dang cool that they not only built a model but also got awards as well. Congratulations!
  20. Nice effects!
  21. That DOES look good JC!!
  22. I hear you on that. By large they are better than a lot of the Revell kits that I've been working with though. lol
  23. Mister you've got that right!
