Thanks Mark, Tim and Ed!!! Ed: I don't know if its the angle of the photos or what but there's more room between the dash and the steering wheel than it looks. What I did have trouble with was getting the steering wheel off of the seat because the standoff bracket between the column and the dash was too long.

Too cool! Too cool I say!

Well here we are with the interior about 70-80% completed. The aluminum steering column helped ALOT as well as the steering wheel from the Barris T Buggy kit. All brake and accelerator pedals are PE as well as the Hot Rod Magazine in the front seat. Instrument panel and radio trim are Chrome BMF. The steering wheel spokes and center are AB'd with Alclad. I still have a set of keys and some Oakley sunglasses to paint up and adhere to the seat beside the magazine. I've got some clean up to do here and there but it's getting closer folks..... and a far off shot to show overall progress....

Hang in there John. Hate to hear the news but with the right mindset and pure will , you'll be back on your feet going strong before you know it. Attitude is everything pal so take it one day at a time through your recovery.

Nice work! That version of the Revell Challenger has a helluva lot more detail under the hood than the older version that's for sure.

Justin: Thanks buddy! I just hope and cross my fingers that nothing goes wrong from here on out....... Carl: I remember those foot pedals very well. I used to get a real laugh out of 'em and was my inspiration for putting one in this build. Thank you as well for the comments.

I'm using the red hood for the same reason on my build. The white hood just screams model/toy look. lol I will say that the Roth kit has a lot of the trashy molding lines and ejector pin marks cleaned up though.

You've got my attention! This is from the old 1982 "Street Demons" mold aint it. Just noticing the red body color

Thanks Carl and yes sir I'll be using the "foot" pedal. Gotta have some humor in the interior. lol The past few days have been spent on body prep for paint. Sanding, filing, filling and all that stuff. Anyhow, moving right to the "meat and potatoes" of the post....... I painted the cab this morning with Tamiya Acrylic Red X-7 and will be letting it dry out for the rest of the day. So far I'm ok with it but have one paint run on the R/H side that I'll have to wet sand out. It'll be a little tricky because it's right on a high point but I think if I'm careful enough I'll be ok. Todays progress.....
