  1. Man I appreciate that Eric! Hopefully I can get this rascal finished by the end of the month. Carl: The fuzzy dice came from Hobbylinc and come in a lot of different colors. They've got some clear ones as well. The link: http://www.hobbylinc.com/cgi-bin/s8.cgi?str_s=dice&redir=1 The magazines came from ebay. Here's the link for those: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171675328419?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  2. Thanks Carl! Got this last night........... as well as another one of these..... (I sanded too much from the base of the hood scoop ! )
  3. ................speechless!!!!!
  4. Nifty. I like it!
  5. Looks great Ray!! Cool color too!
  6. Just couldn't help myself. Had to get these..........
  7. Hang in there John. Hate to hear the news but with the right mindset and pure will , you'll be back on your feet going strong before you know it. Attitude is everything pal so take it one day at a time through your recovery.
  8. What can you say here? The work simply speaks for itself. Thumbs up Mark!
  9. I haven't made it that far yet but have already been dreading that one. Will let you know....................shortly.
  10. Thanks Travis! I'll be following along on your build.
  11. Nice work! That version of the Revell Challenger has a helluva lot more detail under the hood than the older version that's for sure.
  12. Justin: Thanks buddy! I just hope and cross my fingers that nothing goes wrong from here on out....... Carl: I remember those foot pedals very well. I used to get a real laugh out of 'em and was my inspiration for putting one in this build. Thank you as well for the comments.
  13. I'm using the red hood for the same reason on my build. The white hood just screams model/toy look. lol I will say that the Roth kit has a lot of the trashy molding lines and ejector pin marks cleaned up though.
  14. You've got my attention! This is from the old 1982 "Street Demons" mold aint it. Just noticing the red body color
  15. Thanks Carl and yes sir I'll be using the "foot" pedal. Gotta have some humor in the interior. lol The past few days have been spent on body prep for paint. Sanding, filing, filling and all that stuff. Anyhow, moving right to the "meat and potatoes" of the post....... I painted the cab this morning with Tamiya Acrylic Red X-7 and will be letting it dry out for the rest of the day. So far I'm ok with it but have one paint run on the R/H side that I'll have to wet sand out. It'll be a little tricky because it's right on a high point but I think if I'm careful enough I'll be ok. Todays progress.....
  16. Man it's really good to see you back in action again Dan!! Been meaning to touch base with you and have been covered up during my time off. Will give you a shout soon. You still on for Austin? P.S. Progress is Smokin' ! Great work!
  17. This build is gonna hit hard! Dangit man! More please..........
  18. David G: Thanks a lot for the encouragement buddy! Dan: Where have you been? Great to see you around again pal. 35 days left and counting.....................
  19. I really appreciate your comments there Richard. Thanks buddy!
  20. Beautiful Chevelle Tye!
  21. Well I got my pedals in a couple of days ago. This should add some humor into the interior of the build.... And for the steering column. In the foreground is what the kit instructions say is a steering column. Wow! Folks that just looks terrible at best!! Behind it is a column from Parks that I'll be using instead. Now to decide on what steering wheel I'm gonna use.....
