  1. That is a 67 Barracuda. I did a lot more research on that ride and it belongs to a fella by the name of Ken Kiefer. It's a pretty Bad A car too (again with the puns....) . Looks like I'll be replicating this one in the future so I'm off to buy a 67 Barracuda kit. The stance and look on this bad boy are just way too cool!
  2. Pretty sure you're right about that due to the side marker "dots" not being there. You get the picture( pardon the pun) though. I do like the notch backs as well.
  3. It's with the utmost respect that I say that there are distinct differences between the 66 and the 67-69 year model Barracudas. They are all A bodies this is true but the rear of these cars , although all are fastbacks, are vastly different between the 66 and 67-69 years. The 66 has a distinct "wrap around" rear window as opposed to a slight wrap on the 67-69s and the trunk lids are contoured a lot more on the 66 than it is on the 67. Tail lights and rear panel-totally different. Believe me, after owning a 1966 model myself for 2+ decades and being an avid fan of these cars, they look nothing alike from the rear. Check it out: The 1966 model The 1967 model:(and this is one cool lookin' Cuda-I may have to check into this one a little more for a possible future build)
  4. As far as I know, this box art is just for a 66 Barracuda like I've got. They usually go for about 30 bucks. Check it out http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-ERTL-1966-PLYMOUTH-BARRACUDA-HEMI-UNDER-GLASS-WHEELSTANDER-FUNNY-CAR-KIT-FS-/252043385163?hash=item3aaef4d94b:m:mGoANk4l_OCfrO7vQOCWjbA I'm looking forward to getting started as well. I just don't have much for reference right now and I could stand some more of that on this particular car.
  5. Thanks Dan! The work continues. I've got one door completed and will be working on the other one this weekend. Hopefully I can get the cab trim BMF'd and start working on the headlining.
  6. Hey John. This is a 66 Barracuda kit. I'd really like to have a 68/69 Cuda as well though........
  7. This is one sweet boat dude! Keep the progress coming ................
  8. I am left in awe and wonder...............
  9. If I didn't know any better I'd think you were pretty dang good at this Tyrone!
  10. Looks like you're back in the swing of things despite the set backs. Great come back so far John.
  11. Bring it dude! So far so good!!
  12. No need for me to say more.....It's already been said............
  13. Freekin' cool!! This whole 3D printer gig is about to take scale modeling to a whole new level once it gets fairly affordable.
  14. Hang in there John. Attitude and patience will prevail here. You'll be back to working on this build before you know it. Gator did bring up a good point with the snap kits. There are some of those out there that I actually thought about building and have seen built here that turned out great. You've got this man, it's just gotta be on life's terms right now.
  15. Thanks Jim, JC, Kerry and Dave! I'm still chugging away on the Ford F-100 and will hopefully be done by the first week or so in November. After that I'll have a green light for this build. Still gathering information and parts. Anybody with some good files or info on this ride? All info would be welcome at this point as I'm finding it a little difficult to locate bumper to bumper pics on this resto ride.
  16. What's up with that tach?? That thing looks practically real!!! I see the backing looks like a decal. What did you make the needle pointer out of? Motor looks superb! Where'd you get the oil filter decal at?
  17. Everything from detail work to paint is there. This build is right up there with the best I've seen yet............
  18. This looks very interesting. I'm in!
  19. Thanks Gator! I got to re-looking at the hood and scoop and decided that the scoop needed some engine numbers on it. I had a set of decals that said "BOSS 429" on them so I decided to cut the BOSS part out and trim up the 429 numbers and apply them. I'll let 'em dry out and clear it in the coming days. I think it added a nice touch to the front of the truck. I now have all the Street Demons kits as of last Thursday. I see another 429 going into at least one of these...possibly the 54 Chev or the 41 Willys. Decisions, decisions, decisions....... Hmm....
  20. Tim: Thank you for your comments. I'd been wanting to build that bird for around 17 years before I took this one on. I did all kinds of research on it before hand. Harry: Thanks bud. I got beat by a pretty fair lookin' 109 B and this Stuka actually beat my all opened up Fw190 D-9. That was weird. Kenneth: Thank you sir. Hopefully I'll have that dang F-100 finished in time for the Feb show. lol
