If a 4 cylinder Camaro ever came through the dealer for service I never saw it. They've had 3.6 liter V6's until recently. I do remember those SVO Mustangs ...man those were lil' smokers back then for sure!!

Monty: I applied a couple of misting coats on first and allowed to dry for about an hour and then shot the finishing coats on. I've got an article on it if you or anyone else are interested. I used to attempt to make the most out of the molded detail but it just aint worth it these days. Carl: I appreciate it man. I'm using Model Master Dark Red in the spray can. Learned a couple of tricks with the rattle can usage along the way and so far... it's working. Dan: Man I hope so. Thanks BTW

Model Master Enamel there Tim. I looked high and low and couldn't find a shade of Tamiya acrylic that I was happy with. Everything l looked at was just too bright of a color. I've got your notes for future use with the acrylic paints but just couldn't bring myself to change up shades of paint on this build.

Although the picture doesn't depict the exact shade here ( just short of a blood red actually) ...something tells me that I'm really gonna like this paint ! It is the exact shade of red I was after.

This is gonna be a freekin' cool build Ray!!!! I'll be watchin' this one!

Man there some old school kits here! Awesome!! I'm actually acquiring a lot of kits that I had when I was a teenager these days. I received the Monogram Paddy Wagon yesterday in the mail. I forgot how bad the engine was in this kit and have never cared for the wheels and how wide the front tires are. I've got a set of Pro Star wheels for it, and a set of skinnies for the front tires. I just need to come up with a better engine for it now. Aside from that, I've always like the idea of this kit.

Thanks fellas. Progress seems to be moving exceptionally slow these days. I've got a a lot of planning involved and the work is all getting carried out but nothing worthy of pictures...................yet.

Where tha hek does one display something like that? I think I saw a 1/200 scale Bismark last year from Trumpeter and wondered about that then.
