  2. I'm liking the extra plumbing there Tom! Nice attention to detail.
  3. Thanks Fred. Every now and then I miss the ol' gal a little. I spent a fortune on that car and had a blast with it( I made more than one Vette owner cry! lol )
  4. That looks slick Pat! Good job dude!

  8. It's true I'm a BIG fan of the P-51 and most other WWII birds (particularly Luftwaffe stuff) but this is the real reason for the mustang1989

  10. Too add to that..........this guy has NO shortage of brain power! What a build!
  11. Thanks a lot Randy! Hopefully I can get up bright and early in the morning (2 a.m. or so) and start hitting this puppy hard after a couple of shots of coffee!

  17. Came apart nicely. Love it when it all comes together....er....apart like that!
  18. Ok folks. I gave this fuel line my best shot. I'm sure there are others out there that could pull this off better and I may be able to do something with this a little bit when I get it back off the motor for painting but here's where I'm at now. I decided to use some good 'ol JB weld after cleaning the copper sections up of all the oils and what not from handling it. We'll see how it all pans out.
  19. Man this is awesome to watch Tom! I once watched someone taking on 6 Fw190's at one time.............................he didn't come near this far! You're doing great buddy!
  20. Like others have said, the paint looks first class there Bill!
  21. Thanks Dave! Hopefully I can get the fuel line/ lines built tomorrow and get on with the painting of the whole assembly.
  22. Dayuum! Tear it up killer! Good work here Jim! Wow!
  23. Not a HUGE update but all I had time for this morning. I broke out the Dremel and went to work on the fuel line tee off's to each carb. I made the 90 degree turn to the carbs and tapered the tee off at the main inlet line connection/ merge to fuse it in and make it look more like part of the line assy.
  24. That detail on the engine looks great! Can't wait to see the finished product outta this.
  25. Heya Tom. Freakshow (aka Fred) showed me how to do spark plug wires at the distributor. If you already know all this then just disregard. First off I am using Lex's Scale Modeling spark plug wires. I drilled 8 holes in the distributor with the pin vise. Then I cut 1/8" sections of the next step up wire insulation and slid them over the Lex wires for the spark plug wire boots at the distributor and left just enough of the Lex's wire protruding through to insert into the holes in the distributor. (Keep in mind this is my first, I'll be using a smaller drill bit and more precision on my next go round)
