Saw one Friday. Almost picked it up, but I just finished the other version so I figure I'll wait and do a few others.

Got these at the show yesterday. I've been wanting a '59 retractable roof Ford for a while, and also had wanted another Mustang trio kit for a while as well. Towards the end of the show while people were packing up, I spotted a '78 2 door Monaco that I just had to have. Someone built it with a Hemi and max wedge headers, and cragars. Front wheels are gone but the rest of the car is there. Also picked up a Chevy Monte Carlo Nascar for 3 bucks for my future Nascarlo project. Here's some pics.

Thought I'd share. I'm a big fan of Hot Rod Magazine and the Roadkill youtube series. I build a replica of the Crusher Camaro a while back and sent them pictures... and they put it in the magazine in the Roadkill Nation section! Here's the cover if anyone is wondering.

I don't like the kit plastic showing at all personally because it seems the kits I have that are molded in color always look "swirly" for lack of better terms.

Even Kirkey seats nowadays are a bare bucket aluminum seat, and you *can* buy covers for them, but they're not that thick... yet somehow comfortable.

Mine are getting pre-wired M.A.D. distributors anyway... so... no care. Just get the essentials/basics right and I'll fill in the gaps.

It took a long time to settle on that color combo. I didnt like it still until after I put the pearl clear on it... then I liked it.

Just finished this one up. I completed a Mustang, trailer, and this truck for this months club meet theme. Truck goes together fairly well. I've had this kit for over 10 years and never found an excuse to build it until this year. Tamiya white primer with Tamiya pure white over that, followed by model masters turquoise over that for the two tone. Then a pearl clear over top of that. I used some small chrome pinstrips for the paint separation lines that I wasn't thrilled with. Truck tool box is from BNL Resins I forgot to take an engine shot, but distributor is a M.A.D. distributor. Let me know what you think
