  1. Nice Work! I just finished mine in "movie red" recently. I enjoyed the kit so much I bought another one. It's just a cool model to look at!
  2. Great job! I'm considering building mine soon. What did you tint the windows with?
  3. I googled around and couldnt find an actual web site. Do you know of one specifically?
  4. nobody?
  5. So I'm considering making the journey up to NNL in northern ohio here in just a few short weeks, but I've never been before. Can anyone give me any tips on parking, food, etc? Also do you have to be there at a certain time to enter your builds? Does it cost anything per build? or just the entry fee? Should I bring a shopping cart for all the stuff I buy? (LOL just kidding)
  6. Welcome back. Was beginning to wonder where some of the more common posters were
  7. Wait, so the Del Rio has the blower included in the kit too??? Bad, bad ideas are forming in my head.
  8. Whoa, just look at that tire flex in the article that FordRodNKustom posted! lol crazy!
  9. The valvecovers and the placement of the alternator, along with the spacing of the header primaries tell me it's a late model Ford 302. Probably from a fox mustang due to the aluminum valvecovers with the passenger side fill tube.
  10. That's wild! Glad the wheels worked out for you. I've probably had them 15 years! Glad you could put them to good use! Car looks great!!!
  11. S&H car or not... molded in color or not.... I'll still get some of them. I love Torinos. I almost had a '73... Twice. Same color green on green... 2 different cars. Would love to make a few 70's color variations of this kit. And can't wait to see what the aftermarket holds for the chassis as well.
  12. Ah, neat idea. The incision of the cutoff wheel sweeps nicely with the shape of the fender at the bottom. I like.
  13. I'd love to find a '69 AMX to make a replica of my dad's car that he wished he never sold.
  14. Good looking rod. I'd like to see the back a little more to check out the taillights in the fenders
  15. Yeah, I'll be pawning internal organs by the time I leave. I'm trying to sell some real car parts to make some spending cash. What really stinks is I am literally OUT OF ROOM to store kits and getting real close on storage for parts. REAL CLOSE. I have to put off buying ANY more models til I can crank some out.
  16. I learned that lesson with my Lincoln Futura. I thought enough layers of paint and clear would minimize the line... it did not. lol
  17. I've never been... but I plan on going. Not entering anything. Too far from home to want to transport my models... plus I hear its tough competition. I just wanna buy stuff lol
  18. So a friend of mine is getting rid of some of his collection of hotwheels and model cars (he hasnt built in years) and he had a few kits that he built and some that he got from an older fellow many years prior. And so he wanted to let them go. I came over and checked them out. I ended up leaving with a few of them and thought you all might like them. They're not professionally built but they're pretty neat. So these are NOT built by me, but relics of days gone by. Thought they'd make great shelf pieces. Now I'm not sure what brand these are but they look like AMT stuff. Enjoy
  19. Turned out nice! is that the AMT kit?
  20. Photobucket for me is slow. But they have a lot of fluff on their web version. I use Google Chrome and turn on ad block free... and that helps a lot. Still a little finicky but not nearly as bad as it could be. I use their mobile app more than anything to upload pics since my cell phone is my main camera. A lot easier than uploading pics on my phone than on the web. I'm nearly at 40% of my free storage on PB... never thought I'd see it get that high but model building does that I guess.
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. I really love this car, and how it looks like a race car in disguise. But I just noticed the cylinder heads are on backwards. I was staring at the engine wondering why the valvecovers were pointed the direction they were. You have the exhaust side pointing towards the intake manifold. Other than that, stellar build.
  23. Perfect!!! Love it.
  24. All from the kit
