  1. All of my builds that were terrible have long fallen apart. And I've either salvaged them for other projects, or threw them in a box to be rebuilt later.
  2. My first car... My grandma bought this car brand new. Had 32,000 miles when I got it. It is a 2.3 4cyl with a 3 speed auto. No highway car by any means. I love the car, needs restored now though. Hit a deer in it and its sat outside while I try to get my '88 Mustang street/strip car in shape.
  3. Found this on their facebook page http://public.fotki.com/splitstone1963/model-shows-/model-shows-2015/cincinnati-challeng/
  4. In true Roadkill fashion the hood would be strapped to the roof. LOL Neat idea though!
  5. ^^^^^Hit that thing w/ some flat clear right meow!!
  6. What a beauty. I wanted one for many years as a kid... til I realized how expensive mopar stuff is. Closest thing I had was a clapped out '74 Plymouth Scamp lol
  7. Grille looks good to me... I'm still gonna try and scoop a lot of em up.
  8. wow... beautiful Charger. Still got it?
  9. I just taped them up. I'll hit em w/ BMF when its done. And yes, the roof and trunk will also be done. I am trusting my friend w/ creative control on that.
  10. I need a front air dam from that kit lol
  11. Beautiful work. Almost wish it wasnt a curbside! Would love to see how a full detail would look the way you are doing it.
  12. Friend of mine is masking it off and will be cutting the flames out since I just dont have much time outside of work. Here's some progress showing about how the flames will be. I really hope they turn out.
  13. Ugh. I bought some SEM high build primer... and it reacted w/ my OLD crappy red 1-part bondo spot putty. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of sanding and then sealing it w/ another primer before the SEM. This sucks. Gonna take that much longer now.
  14. Just when I think I see your coolest WIP... you go and post this kind of stuff... holy cow. You have really inspired me lately to chop/cut/rebuild some old gluebombs and even NEW kits and rebuild them into hot rodded glory. I would LOVE to see what else you have out there... I still want to see that chopped 30 Model A finished.
  15. probably due to the crossmember that revell put on the channeled frame in order to mount the grille and radiator. In order to drop the grille shell below the rails, the radiator has to be shortened. Plus, if you look at the pictures linked in the fotki album, the radiator hoses are definitely different. The channeled car has a 90 degree top hose and the highboy has a 45 degree top hose.
  16. I'd imagine the duplicate radiator hoses are for the short and tall radiators depending on which route you take.
  17. That's what I'm using. I'm not super impressed with it.
  18. Thank you. I need to get a better filler primer. This doesnt "fill" as good as it should.
  19. I'd say the Revell "streetburner" SVO, or the Easy Builder Thunderbird TurboCoupe would have similar if not the same engines as each other.
  20. I'd chop it. but not as harsh as the JF body. BTW, the frame is amazing. I really like the design of it. Where did you get the rear crossmember over top of the axle, and even the axle itself?
  21. I was going to say the same thing yesterday... reminds me of little coffin.... I love it though. Very out of the ordinary!
  22. I havent, but I'll be masking the whole car, and my friend is really really good and drawing flames and he'll be cutting them out on the car. I'll definitely take pics
