Where did the hubcaps come from on the Green Shelby? Missing Link?

Stop talking about these models and lets see some pictures. I built them a long time ago and the resin was a little thick with some pin holes but nothing you could not overcome. The 67 Shelby is not finished.

Bill J - thanks for the tip about the HRM Cobra which is pictured unbuilt. As for the Revell/Aurora MKI - it is really a decent kit and goes together better than the IMC ones. Speaking of the IMC kit - I could not resist buying this never opened one.

However, at almost $200 it is not cheap but is a model at a whole other level. The Daytona coupe pictured was NOT build by me but I built the GT's and slept at a Holiday Inn once.

Here is an almost complete Thunder Valley kit with the Fujumi donor kit plus a lot of HRM parts. It's ends up being pretty comparable to the Lemans Miniatures ones except it has an engine. It's pictured with the IMC GT40 and the Mirage by Mini Exotics.

Very nice. reminds me of the 68 GT/CS I built years ago.

It's a pretty good model and R&M of Maryland has some nice resin parts for it.

Here are some more pics of both kits (ARII and Revell/Aurora). The ARII kit is like a slot car with a chassis. The Revell/Aurora kit has an engine.

The Aurora/Revell kit is better is you can find one.

My caster said the dash he did was a pain in the butt. If he wants to do some more that will be probably later this year this year after we get the small stuff knocked out. I don't want to overburden him. I do not have any leads on the wheels but I'll look in my stash - I may have a set I got from R&M of Maryland.

I'm hoping to bring fifty (yes fifty) Mustangs so you may be a little outnumbered.

In that color I'm thinking the Lawman.

Come on JC - we know you can do one in 1/87 scale with engine detail.

I built one many years ago and remember the decals too a really long time to do.

I built this 1st generation MKII (IMC/Testors) a very long time ago. It would have been so nice if Fujumi made theirs with engines though. I'm sure I can spare an extra wheel if you need one. I have about a dozen of the Fujumi/Revell GT40's.
