I saw it when it first came out, but they were always super expensive. Plus, like the other comment said, ARII kits are OK, but not that great either.

Thanks, I did what I could with what i had. Just wish it was a better kit.

It's not a bad kit at all. The strips folded in on themselves as I was trying to put it on and I could not get it undone. Sucked.

Gonna start posting some of my pics that got lost. Here is a 1969 Charger that I did a few years ago. Guards Red and Black 1 (7) by Eric Lucas, on Flickr 1 (8) by Eric Lucas, on Flickr 1 (9) by Eric Lucas, on Flickr 1 (10) by Eric Lucas, on Flickr 1 (12) by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

When I found out that this model was coming out I almost cried. If it wasn't for the 1969 Mustang I would never have become a car guy and would never have gotten into model car building. By chance, one Sunday while getting ready for church, I passed a show on SPEED TV called the American Muscle Car and the 1969 Mustang was the subject of the show. They made the car sound like the greatest thing ever built and I became hooked on cars from that day forward. I watched the show every week, absorbing as much knowledge as I could. The color is Blue Angels Yellow. I had two issues with an otherwise excellent kit. The hood did not fit right, and the stripes for the hood got messed up, so i have to order new ones. Haven't had a chance to put on the clear coat yet. SAM_0450 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0451 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

Talk about polishing a turd. My dad got me this for Christmas and, if anyone knows me, I like stock vehicles. The Lindberg kit here is not stock. I ordered a Hart's Parts resin hood and got the stripes from eBay. I came out descent, but this kit is a nightmare of issues. The chassis is smaller than the body! I had to apply the glue and hold the body on the chassis for an hour to get it to stay on! The tail lights look horrible, the hood was glued shut because the engine wasn't stock, and I hate that there were no side mirrors. My stripes were also the wrong scale and I had to trim them. The sides are also wrong which caused an issue with the stripes as well. SAM_0447 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0448 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_0449 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

Best looking one yet. Nice

Good job with the rallys

The Chevelle is pretty cool, but the other stuff is pretty much, meh, or stuff that is already on the market and of better quality.

An all-time holy grail build- 69 Charger Daytona

Looks great. I love the kit too. I'd like to get another and build it for a friend of mine that likes them. Though, the kits aren't that expensive now, are they? I thought I'd seen them on eBay for less than $30. -
Saw one of these the other day. Thinking of getting one when I get my tax money back.

Wish mine looked half that good. It was damaged and I never got a new one.

Nice, these were great models.

https://hartspartsresin.com/product/amtmpc-70-dodge-coronet-super-bee-rt-conversion-w-pitchfork-hood/ Good site to find conversion parts for your cars. Just got the 71 Challenger conversion and got an AMT kit for it.

Thinking of getting another and doing it with the pitchfork hood.
