  1. Hi James, that's a sharp looking rig there, and in that scale too. Good stuff.
  2. Clayton, those are some fine looking rigs there! I'm catching more and more details now, like the ropes and lines on the empty beds.
  3. Rob, that's really starting to look like a truck now, the decals look good.
  4. Good work on the hinges and doors, really taking shape now!
  5. Hi Dan, those wheels really look even better now that you have color on the cab, they just compliment each other. Classy looking dumper, just the way a Brockway ought to look.
  6. Man I can imagine how that pile goes up in flames. So, now I've reached the point of no return. I'm building a hay hauler. I just stretched the frame a little bit behind the wheels, need some room for all those bales. Oh yeah, hooked for sure. Guys, please post your stash pics of hay haulers, these rigs are just too outrageous, my opinion. I'd love to see some details!
  7. OK. On a couple of pics I can faintly see front to back ropes, some have them on the sides too, thanks for the info. Still seems a little weird. Clayton, about burning, what caused the spark?
  8. Nice scratch building, great too that it works. Nice job!
  9. Good weathering on that tough looking rig. I agree Mr.Grip is too shiny for a workhorse. It's moving along well Gator.
  10. Hi Rich, yep, I'd like to see more pics. This direction is really looking good to me. Flat bed now, maybe later on just a trailer as a smaller project. What really intrigues me is that these loads actually run like this, I'd of thought no way could hay be stacked so high without being otherwise secured on a moving vehicle. Found this sweety too on Hank's Truck Site; Man these haulers kill me. I'm going for it.
  11. Hi Rich, yes I think it would make a nice model. Don't remember seeing a hay hauler type truck here on the forum. I like it, looks clean, it's different, and solves my lacking shelf room for as trailer. I'd have to lengthen the frame out back a little bit, but it's not finished anyway. Hmm, sounding better all the time now.
  12. I like this one, from Pinterest; This would be something different, and I think I could pull it off. Just no steps....lol.
  13. LOL. Clayton, flat bed truckers must have some long kind of legs! At least on my build, they'd have to shimmy around a big exhaust stack too. Dang, does this mean I need handles on the tall stacks? About the "squeeze", I'm lookin' and it's still a foreign object to me. Is that some kind of HotRod forklift?
  14. A big bump here. Guys, I don't see any steps, or ladders on the sides of the flat beds. Would this be a no no if I were to put the ladder I've already made, to use for a flat bed?
  15. That is a beautiful truck! I want one.
  16. Ha, "I quit"! Good one Gator, this makes me laugh. That darned thing looks about as real as it gets. How does he do it? Great stuff Brian.
  17. Kurt I think this look great. Without knowing anything about trucks, even then I remember seeing the deal about the mismatched tires, and rims with different degree of wear on them. Very realistic.
  18. Excellent mods Terry, the dump body is great, a tough looking work truck.
  19. Great detailing Brian, it's getting better each time. The fuel tank valve is fantastic.
  20. "Old brute", that phrase fits it, a real tough looking build here, I really like this.
  21. Well I'll bet in your country you can drive for hours also and not see a traffic light. Great wilderness up there.
  22. Well done Roger. I saw over on the "Show us your Mopars" thread you have a great collection.
  23. Terry, that's a lot of wheels. A brutal looking rig, I like it. In real life, would any of those tandem wheels turn with the steer wheels too, meaning "steerable" tandems?
  24. Hey Brian that's a great looking rear end setup, good stuff.
