  1. Yep, I'd say it's a Sport Fury. The bucket seats though would be the real clue, or the back seat. My favorite 60's Mopar. I know this car well.
  2. Ron, with your talent....send me some plastic wheels and I'll cast them in metal. Maybe this way, I could offer a way for some new incentive. We'd love to see this project moving along. Michael
  3. Hi Ray! Man I'm happy about reading this news. I like the way your thinking goes about progression, and the execution. Save, then play. A really satisfying way to go . Looks like you have a good and solid corner built up, and the controls are at hand. Good stuff. Good luck with your further endeavors, I'm in. Take care and good you're back to your new bench. Michael
  4. This is looking very good Dan and the wheels are really fine. I think Brockway trucks are interesting, I don't know much about them though. I like this one.
  5. Looking great Brian, I've seen pics of truck floors like this on my internet travels and thought that would be cool on a model. There you go, really innovative and adds to the overall work your putting into this fine build.
  6. Jason, this model is outstanding. You've really captured the simplicity of this nasty and simple car. Beautiful and correct detailing, it looks like it should look. I like!
  7. Oh yeah! That is a fine looking truck! I'll bet you'll be smiling when you can finally get that piece on the road. PS: Clayton, you asked me about rear fenders a couple of days back. I like those kind, plus I think I can do them myself from aluminum sheet.
  8. Looking good Rob. The floor really does look good.
  9. Thanks Clayton. If you don't mind me saying, you did good.
  10. There you go, that says it all. Good stuff. Do I understand right, you'll be driving that one? What's the deal with those lights Clayton? When, or better where are they allowed to be turned on? Is it allowed on the road, to have more lights than the factory puts on the trucks? I'd like to know too, how the trailer was polished. I can't imagine that thing will be hauling big rocks, or scrap metal.
  11. Yep, time to move on Clayton. More dough, plus the trucks look like they're fun too. Good luck, and hope that you can get back to smiling again soon!
  12. OK, do I read then you're wanting to use the color, but not a fan of the brand? I'm nuts about H of K, so easy to use and the shine is so easy to achieve, plus the color possibilities are just incredible. I'll check in with your progress.
  13. Hey Toni, this looks like fun. Go for it! I'm too a big fan of H of K paint! I was thinking myself about Brandywine with a touch of other shades for my current project, what a great color.
  14. Terry this is real interesting for me to see, I like big trucks without a trailer as space available is an issue for me. Big dump trucks are a great theme in my opinion, you're doing some fine mods here and I enjoy looking.
  15. Really a stunning model. I don't have a clue about different kinds of fire trucks, but when I look at this model I get an idea of what it's used for and it shows what brave guys are up to when most folks run away.
  16. Snake, I'd be interested is seeing a pic of your 1911 Collection.
  17. Hey Brian, that is a fine looking tank! You're doing innovative and great work with this project, I'm really enjoying your updates.
  18. This just made me laugh!
  19. Harry asked originally why folks speak dialects, I think he said accents. Living in a foreign country has made me very aware of accents and dialects. Germany is full of dialects too, and Germans aren't exactly a type of people who choose to live far away from their home, excluding jobs of course. My take is, folks are just proud of their homeland and area, and they choose to support others from the same area to show they belong. I'm from Florida, my father was born there too, but he spoke like Ronald Reagan. My mother was from Ohio, so no real dialect or accents were available at home. My older brother has no noticeable dialect, neither do I. When my older sister talks I think the milk will turn sour, it curls my toes to hear her speak like that. So, I deduce it's a choice, an environmental issue. I'm proud to be from Florida, a wonderful place to grow up, but I speak a neutral type of English. Even Brits ask where I'm from.
  20. You guys have good hobbies, I enjoy reading this stuff. I love woodworking too. Lots of decent cabinets, shelving and other things in my house and of course in the basement. Wood is cool. Restoring old Olympic Match air rifles. The 10 Meter scene is really big in Europe, I have several flawless gems from the 60's and I like the smell of oiled blue steel and hand oil rubbed beautifully grained exotic wood. Vespas. My current one is a hopped up and nasty little silver devil that gets off the red light so quick the cars have to burn rubber to do better, mine does wheelies when I get on it hard. A thrill to ride in the city and I can park downtown on the sidewalk too! Read lots of fun. Wine from where it's grown, and Italian food, the real Italian food.
  21. Hi Rich, you're having a dance on ice. Be careful, and discreet with your job wishes. After many years in the military, I like "the next place gotta be better" phrase. It has a positive manner about it and because of this, it was for the most part true. There are though places that just plain s.u.c.k, period. Get out if you can , and get on with what you want to do. You, are the boss. For the others, you're just part-timing and they should appreciate your presence.
  22. Not long ago, a trucker from the East Block caused an accident on the German autobahn. Right by his side was a girlie magazine, which was later found after the rescue folks were confused because the gentleman was without pants. Go figure. Maybe with this technology, some dudes will have more time to attend other things than the road ahead. Maybe yet another generation of the renowned steering wheel holders?
  23. Great looking Pat! The applications and overall look really please the eye, nicely photographed too. I like those wheels, but I'm a rookie. Looks like power!
  24. That's a powerful and tough looking truck, I like this. Nice work Tom.
