  1. Hi Jim, What a wonderful model! Color combination is gorgeous and the model just looks like it belongs on a brochure from 1967. The detailing is what really makes it in my book, and you have it perfect. I enjoyed the WIP, and you can be proud of the result. Just magnificent, and a real beauty. Michael
  2. Another cool car. Very clean and stunning paint job.
  3. Now those are coil overs! Excellent, I like the finish also. Michael
  4. Looking good Ludwig.
  5. Excellent detailing and the paint looks fabulous. The cars look real.
  6. I personally have a nice memory of the 62 Coupe de Ville, it was white, with light blue interior. That was about the last year that Cadillac caught my eye, until recently. The 50's were maybe for me the favorites. Early 60's too. I think if I was to build a regular type car model, it would be a Modelhaus Cadillac mid 50's. I would love to own one, like this for instance; I think it's pretty outrageous for the time, the lady was too. Michael
  7. Alex, I'm happy your Bugatti was like a virgin. I suspected the things you usually have, aren't. Michael
  8. Hi Carl, Your model is super clean and looks cool with the Cragar S/S wheels. Your paint expertise is beyond mine, I hope to get there soon. Once again, the background is a wonderful touch and with the lighting you use, an absolute enhancement. I like, well done. Michael
  9. Alex, so what's in the Aldi bag? Maybe some bratwurst? Fantastic looking super sports car, very clean and excellent job. Michael
  10. Hi Alex, what a cool car. Good looking model too. The instrument panel looks fantastic. Michael
  11. Hi Carl, You do indeed build very clean models! The red paint is really snappy and smooth with a great gloss. What kills me is the Diorama too, I have to look further into a good looking background like yours. Nicely photographed and a nice touch with the quad sitting out back. Well done. Michael
  12. Hi Alex! You're English is very good, probably better than your Bavarian....oder? lol. Now, go and do some burnouts and driftings with your Alfa, the local police will love you for it. Gut das Du hier bist. Relikt, ahem....Michael
  13. Stunningly clean and correct.
  14. Thanks Rich, this is unfortunate news. They look to be right.
  15. Hi Rich, what a cool old sled! A '59 Buick convertible. Love it, and you did a great job, the white/red is perfect for this flashy car. Question: The "snaps" for the folded down top, could you show me a link? I've been looking for these for my current build. Michael
  16. Super clean work Tim, very convincing. Question, do you have a drawn plan for all phases of this build, or are parts of the cage for instance, touch and go? I realize there's a plan for the overall car, but is every unit drawn out? Michael
  17. The thought of putting a scalpel blade down a long line of a good paint job intimidates me. Plus, very tedious work, and always in the back of my mind is the thought of not making an exact cut and going too far into the paint. I think the price is okay, that's a lot of chrome trim on the sheet. Rich, if I have a car that needs the stuff, wanna give it a whirl? Michael
  18. Richard, I knew it! hahahaha You make killer hot rods! You've complimented many guys here, and you have made lots of compliments on my builds. You're a hotrodder for sure! I've always written the Netherlands rock, and most of you are halfway crazy! You rock! I like! Michael
  19. Good job, looks really convincing.
  20. What a cool model, and really outstanding paint job. Well done!
  21. Excellent detailing and a fine paint job, well done!
  22. Hi Ernie, good you're back, and get them wires into the valve covers and move on....piece by piece. Step by step. One thing at a time. It seems you have the right outlook, things have changed, and get some of the new stuff and have fun learning all over again. Michael
  23. Andy, you have to get clear pics OK? First pic, the wheels look fantastic! Are they resin pieces? The plumbing under the hood looks very good and correct, you've made lots of effort, so let's get some clear shots up to do this model justice. Michael
  24. I don't quite follow you. If you can't see an area that's not painted, why would you "judge it" then? How could this be the tie breaker on models that are otherwise, in your judges' eyes equal? If a model is left unpainted under the hood, then what's the sense in even entering a contest? May or may not be seen? Hmmm, I'm happy to read that you guys don't "tear the models apart" the models. Huh?
  25. I remember, back in the day, my older brother had a girlfriend with a dark green 4 spd. convertible. It wasn't the 271 hp version, but it was a real cool car and ran well. A very nice car back then.
