  1. 1st car....a '34 Chevy 4 door from the junk yard...no engine or interior just a shell...$15 2nd car... a '55 Chevy. Bought it from my big brother for $1. And it ran!!....'till the rear end seized up...whoops!
  2. Beautifully built models. Paint, foil, stance and decals are superb! Thanks for sharing Virgil!
  3. You're doing a stellar job on this model! The interior is terrific, especially the steering wheel. Coming along very nicely!
  4. Great pictures indeed! I really like the 5 window shown, and the little lakes style car.
  5. That's a very cool looking custom for sure! Paint is great! Nice job!
  6. The almond and red work well together IMO. You're tempting me to get out a 5 window, but I have too many projects going. But your nice build has me inspired.
  7. Great looking rig! Avoid low bridges though.
  8. Wow! Outstanding!
  9. "GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!" Man, that is HUGE!!
  10. Built quite a while back, so I don't remember the year ( box is missing). I cut the roof off and chopped the windshield a lot. Was meant to be a "low rider" I think. Wheels are from the Miami Vice Daytona with whitewalls added. Smoothed it out a bit and frenched the taillights and aerial. Added some velour powder to the interior and did custom exhaust out the back. There is no engine or under-carriage detail. I painted it with Testors small bottle metallic greenand metallic blue mixed in.
  11. Love that style of Chevy and you picked a nice colour combo. Nice!
  12. Thanks for the photos! Looks like there was some very nice stuff there.
  13. Not sure year, but pretty sure she's an Eldo. Cut the roof off, and chopped the windshield big time! Grey velour used on the seats. Paint is Testors metallic green ( small bottle) airbrushed on...no clear. Frenched the taillights and rear fender mounted aerial. Steering wheel from the parts box. It's an old build from the 80's. Oh yeah, the wheels are from the Miami Vice Daytona with whitewalls added.
  14. That generally only happens once!
  15. There's a LOT going on here! Very impressive! I envy your talents.
  16. My condolences to you and your family and friends.
  17. Beautiful day here in southern Ontario, so I HAD to get out! Went to my LHS, and for the 1st time EVER, he had some "gently used" kits! Definately a 1st! So (btw, they're all there...never built), I purchased 2 kits for parts and 2 small baggies with assorted stuff for a song! Put a BIG smile on my face!
  18. Now that's very cool! I love the front axle pulled out to stretch the car. Very neat idea on the whole build!
  19. Very nice build!
  20. Nice trio of deuces. The Sanford version is my favourite just because of the colours and the wide whites, plus it's a highboy. The interior jumps out because of the light colours as well. Bet you'll enjoy doing a 3 window! Nice work after your long break from the hobby!
  21. Cool small ride! Looks good with those wheels.
  22. I think it'll be cool too Ray! Go for it!
  23. I love rod builds, so I'll be watching this. Super nice work on the frame!
