I saw the Green Hornet model there a few weeks ago. Already built one and very glad they produced this model but unfortunately there's nothing else you can do with it.

Very nice looking model of a nostalgic F1 car. Always liked this car.

Great looking model. Thanks for the review also. -
Many years ago we were in a small Italian restaurant and I did that quote. My wife was the only one that got it. When I came back to the table she asked if I found a gun while in the bathroom and I told her I forgot to look. ?

You did a great job on this. I've enjoyed building different types of models because someone gave them to me as a gift. You have a feeling you must build it no matter what the subject and I like that. -
I was at the DMV yesterday and it went well. Of course it helped that I had an appointment at 9:10 am. Line out the door, people waiting and I heard it would be 1 hour or more for them to be called to the counter. Got my drivers license renewed and don't have to go back for 8 years!

Yes, I had a bird partially trapped and he was still alive. Managed to set him loose and he hung around awhile and then flew off so I was happy about that. Now I only set traps at night and put them back in the shed at daylight. Don't want the squirrels or my dogs getting to them. I use peanut butter for bait. I like your method of nailing traps down. Smart.

This morning I found the mouse trap I set out last night about 10 feet from it's original spot. Had to look for it and there was a foot caught in it with a lot of scratch marks. ? It's a plastic trap that always kills them right across the head or neck for a quick death but this time I'm left with a gruesome "what happened" story. I knew something was amiss last night when we were upstairs in our bedroom and one of our dogs suddenly looked up and continued to look toward the backyard. Most likely listening to the snap and struggle thereafter. Uggghhh.

Nice job on that challenging paint scheme. Amazed that you saved those decals. Very good looking model! -
I was a fan of his and would be happy to tip a Coke (Coke Zero) to him. Not Miller High Life.

We've had this one for 2 years now and it took 6 months for him to trust me even though I fed him and took him on walks. He would still be wary of me so obviously the men folk hadn't treated him well. He was ok with my wife. Now we're best buds and wrestle on a daily basis. You don't know what went on previously when you get a rescue dog. Our other rescue warmed up to me immediately.

Had elk steak back in the 70's and liked it but never in chili. Had deer stew and liked that. I suppose elk meat in chili would give it a little different flavor?

All good stuff you guys.

Days of Thunder Sequel Maybe
TonyK replied to Leo64's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
For some reason I just keep having a bad feeling about the upcoming "F1" movie. I hope I'm wrong but as a big fan of F1 I'm going to need it to be very good. -

"Driven" with Sylvester Stallone. That's the worst racing movie ever made! -
For some reason we were told to save the top layer of our wedding cake in the freezer and dig it out for our first anniversary. Looking forward to eating it and after one bite it sucked. Afterwards we kept saying how stupid that was as anything kept in the freezer for a year is not gonna be good.

Man, that's nasty. ?

Yes and Genesis music is where I came to know about the Mellotron. I seem to remember Rick Wakeman saying something like "give me a couple of minutes and I can make any sound you want".

What's with the U.S.Post office these days?

My update- Package to be delivered Monday by 7:15 PM. Again, they are 1/2 mile up the street. I could've walked up there and got it! -
Seems to be a good selection but not sure I need any of them. They should do well for many others though.

Tracking showed a package arrived at the post office yesterday morning at 9 am. The post office is 1/2 mile up the street from me. Today it still shows "waiting for acceptance". Say what?! -
I probably spend more time building as there's less to do outside. But.....just like you, I paint outside so spraying has pretty much stopped. My work bench is in the garage and I can build and brush paint all I want. I have a small heater when it gets real cold. I try to prepare for the winter by painting bodies and interiors and chassis so all that's left is detail painting.

I hear coyotes almost every morning when I take the dogs out. It's early and still dark. Once in awhile my dogs will stop and listen but usually they pay no mind and do their business so they can go back in to get their treat.
