  1. Great looking model. I like the raced look on the body and tires.
  2. That's a fun little diorama you've made.
  3. I really like your Coca-Cola model. Also like the cooler. Brings back memories of sticking my arm into that COLD to grab a bottle.
  4. That's a sharp looking model! I've built a few models again as an adult that I built as a kid and it's fun how the memories come back to you. I agree with your change of the spike.
  5. Good looking car and a very good looking model. I like the real car photos and explanation of what you did to make this. Can appreciate the finished model even more.
  6. Wife showed me this shirt and said she could wear it all year.
  7. That is a good looking model!!!
  8. Ahhhh the memories of having hamsters and gerbils. Toss an empty toilet paper roll in there and watch them run thru it and chew it..... Fun times.
  9. Wow, a lot of work to create a great looking model!
  10. Sharp looking model! Always impressed when someone tackles a paint scheme like this and does it well.
  11. Very sharp looking model and I like that box art.
  12. I retired at a young age while my wife still worked. Kept busy by doing everything around the house. Cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Took a walk everyday and then got dogs so that kept me busier. Yard work kept me busy during the nice weather and I build models of course. It's been great. Still remember when I retired I'd have to answer many questions from older guys I'd bump into.....Do you fish? No. Do you golf? No. Then what do you do to keep busy? The biggest issue when I first retired was getting a routine. All those years working created your routine but when it's gone you're left with no schedule.
  13. Not an irk but we decided to replace our furnace and AC earlier this year. Expensive but more efficient and VERY quiet.
  14. When the announcement is made about mailing I like it so I can keep an eye out for the postal service to complete the job. It is a bit of torture though when everyday I wonder if this is the day I get the magazine only to open the box and slump when it isn't there. Then the day comes and I walk back to the house looking like Charlie Brown when he's all happy with his Christmas tree.
  15. Amazing modeling skills to create this nice looking model! Lots of detail too.
  16. The wife has it, along with other back issues. She always has pain and says she takes an Advil sometimes when it flares up more than the everyday dealings. Takes some other prescription pills all the time but still in pain.
  17. Excellent work on the weathering!
  18. Ahhh going back a few years to some good Pro Stock cars. Very nice build.
  19. It might be that I'm old and more patient and just happy there's still a model magazine being published on paper so I don't mind waiting for the next issue. And I just recently renewed my subscription for 2 more years. I have faith in these guys.
  20. I saw the Green Hornet model there a few weeks ago. Already built one and very glad they produced this model but unfortunately there's nothing else you can do with it.
  21. Very nice looking model of a nostalgic F1 car. Always liked this car.
  22. Great looking model. Thanks for the review also.
  23. Many years ago we were in a small Italian restaurant and I did that quote. My wife was the only one that got it. When I came back to the table she asked if I found a gun while in the bathroom and I told her I forgot to look. ?
  24. You did a great job on this. I've enjoyed building different types of models because someone gave them to me as a gift. You have a feeling you must build it no matter what the subject and I like that.
  25. I was at the DMV yesterday and it went well. Of course it helped that I had an appointment at 9:10 am. Line out the door, people waiting and I heard it would be 1 hour or more for them to be called to the counter. Got my drivers license renewed and don't have to go back for 8 years!
