  1. What the...?! Sorry to read all your trouble building this but I'm glad you finished it. So much innovation. Really enjoyed looking at it and then your interior pics brought even more enjoyment. Thanks for sharing your unique model!
  2. Great facial expressions!

    Old time garage

A Fujimi garage with a nostalgic look. Had some fun coming up with a situation and decided on a couple of business men who stopped in to have a flat tire fixed before getting on with their day.
  4. Fujimi garage diorama that are somewhat simple but fun to work on every so often until I decide it's done. Went with a small engine repair shop theme with motorcycles, a lawn mower and go-cart. Various items from model extras and scratch made things to complete the look. Didn't take very good pics so it's difficult to see some things.
  5. Studebaker comes to mind. I hated them as a kid but as an adult I came to like the Commander, Hawk, and Starliner or whatever they are called. Other Studebakers are still ugly to me along with any Rambler and early 60's Thunderbirds.
  6. You're not alone. Our 2 rescue dogs are always looking for something on the floor, carpet, and outside to eat. They're small dogs; both around 15 pounds. We had 2 Westies before these guys and they weren't like this. I sometimes wonder if its a "rescue" thing. Don't know what their lives were like before and maybe needed to eat anything they could to get by. I always go out with them in the backyard and that's mainly to keep an eye on them and yell whenever they want to pick something up and to make sure they do their "duty". Usually that's not a problem but sometimes they'll want to come back in when I know they need to poop. Dumb dogs.
  7. These F1 cars are always difficult with the many shapes and paint schemes but you did a great job.
  8. This looks great. I assume you printed the used concrete/checker floor yourself? Have looked for this type of floor but can never find something decent.
  9. This is great! A lot to look at and enjoy. Thanks for the pictures.
  10. Hop in my car to leave the grocery store and Slow Ride is playing on Sirius XM 70's channel so I crank it up. They cut it off! Didn't play the whole song! I've never heard anyone do that before. Every party we had back in the day that song would have to be played.
  11. I used the MPC kit to make a replica of my Jeep from the late 70's. Made the light bar and added a winch, different tail lights, front and rear spot lights, different mirrors and wipers. Painted with Tamiya light metallic blue. Did a lot of 4-wheeling when I had this Jeep and sure enjoyed it.
  12. Had this happen to me many, many years ago and since then I open every kit I buy to make sure everything is there.
  13. Great job on this! You need to get busy and build more models so we can enjoy the results. 😊
  14. Great looking model. I have a couple of Heller F1 cars that are half done. As others have said, they aren't the easiest models to build but they did some unique cars like this one. I enjoyed looking at it.
  15. Watched the goofy Dodge Charger commercial. I believe the blonde at the very end is Pamela Austin in case anyone cares. I say this because I was in deep smit with her back in the day. She was on Love American Style and an Elvis Presley movie..... Probably more but I'm old now and that was a long time ago. 🙂
  16. The one piece body was in perfect condition. The chassis was a little warped but once it was fit to the body and epoxied it was ok. Thanks for the comments.
  17. A very nice Modelhaus resin kit that I finally got around to building.
  18. Revell kit that I bought at Hobby Lobby at 40% off. Thought it looked like a dumb fun project for the winter. Not a bad kit but had to chop off all the molded in exhaust system on the chassis. The decals were excellent which is always nice when finishing up a model. Painted with Testors black and Rustoleum berry pink.
  19. The bumper car is a 3d kit and I added a figure for a fun look. The Fred and Wilma is from Iceman Collections.
  20. That's a good looking model! It can be fun building these old kits once in awhile for their simplicity.
  21. Great looking model! Nice detail work.
  22. My son and his wife did this with their little dog. The dog is full of energy and they said it took awhile for her not to want to bite Santa. Sorry I don't have a picture handy but it looked very similar to yours. Got to hand it to these Santa's that put up with crying kids and dogs.
  23. No, that's just dry white toast.
  24. Maybe from Jonny Quest. 😃
  25. I'm usually up by 3 am every day; sometimes 3:30 if I'm lucky but I'm usually asleep at 9 pm so 5 1/2 to 6 hours sleep is the norm. Today I woke up at 2 and finally got up at 2:30. Make a pot of coffee and go out to the garage and work on models while the wife and dogs sleep. Sirius 60's radio keep me company. Been doing this for so long it's what my body is used to I guess.
