  1. Wow! Lots of detail and a great looking model.
  2. You've done your homework on this model and it shows. Thanks for sharing another historic racer.
  3. That was a lot of work to build a car from the past. I like these type of racers and the history behind them. Great looking model!
  4. That has always been the goofiest showrod in my opinion. You did a very nice job on this.
  5. I believe everything from Model Master is gone. I relied on MANY colors of bottle and spray and now am frustrated when I need certain colors I used for years. Have tried to find similar replacements but haven't. The available glues from different company's aren't a problem.
  6. I see you're able to get his attention. Good pictures of him.
  7. Gruesome! That took a lot of work and you did it well. Lots of detail.
  8. Well, you sure had a cool van. And a great model. Nice job!
  9. This is amazing! You could stop now and it would be a great diorama. Scary to see how this keeps developing.
  10. I completely agree with what Joe said!
  11. Couple of days ago I was walking the dogs in a short sleeved shirt. This morning there's a bit of snow on the ground and my computer weather icon says "rain and snow". <sigh>
  12. I saw "Silent Movie" at the drive-in when it first came out. Not the best way to watch it as there are many distractions and you have to pay attention when there's no dialog. I've watched it since then at home and it's much better that way. Reminds me of watching a movie with sub titles. You have to stay focused or you'll miss something. I would guess many younger people don't bother with these type of films nowadays. Or am I just being a typical old man with that statement? ?
  13. First I've heard of this but I want one!
  14. Great looking model and your close-ups highlight the paint, decal application and other details. Well done!
  15. Very clean, sharp model there! Amazing to do it in a day. I couldn't have done that. Congratulations to her!
  16. Beautiful model and that chrome really shines!
  17. Not that anyone cares but....I've enjoyed the many comments on how great this kit is but it doesn't do much for me other than maybe the trailer. It could be because I don't like convertibles. Having said that, you guys have almost convinced me to buy the kit. ?
  18. The weathering really makes this look great. Nice job on the entire model.
  19. That is a beast of a car and you made the model look just like it should; a beast. Nice job!
  20. Great looking model. You're right about it being a simple kit but builds up nicely. The included figure is a plus.
  21. A very good looking model! Like those headers.
  22. To be more clear about what I said is, I don't follow the WIP of model car building. I like to look at the finished model but when it comes to dioramas I enjoy looking at the progress. Having done dioramas myself I know the fun is creating the scene as you go along. Once it's done your imagination of what you hoped to accomplish is over.
  23. I wasn't pointing my statement at you. Sorry if you thought that. It was more of a general statement of what I have observed people saying in the past.
  24. I've heard people in the past get excited saying "Wow, our house is worth such and such" and I remind them you'll just be paying more taxes. Don't get all excited about it unless you're ready to sell.
  25. The Sealab could be a fun kit for something different. Historic.
