Nice job on the model. These kits seem pretty simple by todays standards. I bought them all way back when they first came out. Couple years ago I saw them at a swap meet for $5 and it killed me to not buy them but didn't make any sense for me since I already have or built them all.

That sure is an oddball and you did a great job on it!

Wife and I watched the new Christmas Story movie on HBO Max. Not bad. Enjoyed seeing the kids as adults now as they were all in this.

Thanks for the info. I've got a cheat sheet myself which usually refers to Tamiya paints. In the past the Japanese kits were good about the paint reference but this was my first NuNu kit so a bit new to me.

Another great figure you've shown us. By the looks of your collection it seems you'll build any subject. Is there something you wish for no company has made?

I grew up listening to Herb Alpert too. My Dad was into the "Big Band" music so it was only natural that he would like this type of sound. If I remember right, the girl on the cover was Herb's niece or something like that. No link attached but I like Camel which is mostly instrumental.

You described the movie well from what I remembered. Odd story as you follow along and I recall that one girl was a real temptress.

Looks like his chin and neck got it pretty bad too. Much better there than higher up on his face. This picture gives us fans a sigh of relief although I'm sure he still feels some pain and discomfort.

I think the 7ups car chase was good but what really makes Bullitt great for me is the sounds coming from that Mustang.

Very nice looking model! Paint and decals are flawless.

Atlantis model that was fun to build. Fairly simple and everything went together well. The plastic was shiny and mostly flawless so I didn't paint it; just polished it. The decals went on easily so this model was a nice and easy break from the usual.

Used the Salvino's Dodge Charger and Tamiya TS44 Brilliant blue and Tamiya white. Not happy with my choice of color but looking at pictures was hard to come up with two that showed the same blue so just went with this one.

Very nice work on this model! The paint colors jump out at you. I've been wanting to do this version as someone else mentioned so you may have given me a reason to finally build it.

Liked the Snowy White music. Never heard this before but sure enjoyed it. Got some Santana vibes at the beginning and then just eased into easy listening blues sound.

Thank you for the Genesis this morning. Amazing talent from these guys as they sound just as good "live" as the studio version.

Mr. NYLIBUD, I'm with you on those 3 movies you mentioned in your first sentence. I think part of the problem (and my problem) is you had top notch actors in the originals and then they think they're going to make a better movie with whoever they get now. Just leave well enough alone. Old movies such as mentioned above (The Thing) can benefit with new technology and scare the "blank" out of you so I don't have a problem with that.
