It certainly does look great. Been a long time since I've seen one of these.

You did good! I've built this and yours looks much better with the changes you made.

In the past, I have signed up on a model or racing message board only to find it became dead. I'd visit every now and then and there'd be no activity. Obviously that's not the case here but it is a strange situation you bring up. Makes you wonder what happened to these people.

Been awhile since anyone has been irked with USPS so I'll toss this on here. Placed an order with Model Roundup who promptly shipped it on 12/08. USPS tracking says departed their facility on 12/11 and I'll get it on 12/14. All sounded good until 12/14 rolls around and I get nothing and now shows "moving through network" and will arrive late. Means nothing to me. I understand this time of year can get hectic but it's still frustrating to give you a delivery date and then leave you hanging. Rant over.

The wife told me she read he "offed" himself. Always wonder what led someone to that.

I wanted to kill Frog1 so bad. Let's not forget Hackman as the blind man in Young Frankenstein. As a side note, the actors/actresses that shock me are the ones that feel the need to get plastic surgery and they're hardly recognizable anymore.

I always thought they were HO scale but looks like you've proved me wrong. Maybe different scales for different scenes?

That's some heavy metal bands you've got there. Glad you tackled the dark years in your life and willing to share it so I'm guessing you're all good now. Yep, I always remember the Dolly Madison commercials.

I would've never known this was 1/87th scale. Great job on this! And I think your pictures are great too.

Great looking model! Those decals had to be a nightmare but you managed them perfectly. -
What did you see on the road today?

Interesting story about the crashed Fiat. I feel bad for you trying to be a nice guy and in the end you get nothing but anguish. -

Excellent! The weathering makes all the difference when making these models. -
I used to wrap presents pretty good when I was younger but didn't build models very well. Now I suck at wrapping presents but do a decent job on a model.

Always recognized "Yours is no Disgrace" as an antiwar song but never thought of it specific to Vietnam. I just kind of applied it to any war.

The Hallmark one is great! Wife and I watch their movies just to laugh and make comments on all the phony and ridiculous ways they do things.

I always use a candle. Pretty good flame and it smells nice. heh heh

To seal...or not to seal?
TonyK replied to Pierre Rivard's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
First of all, that's a good looking model. Second, I've never clear coated or sealed after decals. Done a ton of race cars and the decals still look good after 20-30 or longer years. Read too many comments from guys that have ruined their models when a clear coat attacks the decals. Many modelers have no problem. Some swear by it so you'll get all types of answers here. Maybe Future is a safe way to go. Personally I don't like race car models with a clear coat as it usually looks funky. -
There was something about her being funny that was slightly different that I liked. A bit of confidence and a bit of spice in her delivery. And she was quite the babe.

Never heard of a 1/8th scale Cosmo kit but it looks pretty nice.

Big Fleetwood Mac fan from beginning to the end. She had a great voice and I swear she got better looking as she got older. Sad news.
