Those are cool. Quite a variety of pictures and I'll bet you'll have lots of fun sifting thru them.

Yes, I remember the Auto World scam. Was just talking to my wife about the old days of ordering things and you waited until one day when it showed up. Kind of fun that way. I added is it better this way with the tracking as we complain about the scenic trip our package goes on or the old way? My problem is when we are told when to expect our package but it doesn't come then. Frustrating.

Yes, well done is right. I remember this kit from long ago and recall it going together real good. -
Revell's '76 Chevy Van painted with Tamiya maroon. Always wanted to build one of these kits as I hung out in a couple of friends vans like this in the '70's. Not a bad kit but the 2 piece tires were the worst I ever dealt with. Added a Masterbox girl for a little fun.

Nice Revell kit painted with Testors black. Added rock guard screen from Dirt Modeler and some wing supports.

UPS Priority delivery left Auto World Monday. Supposed to take 1-2 days but says Saturday. Guess what? Today it says Sunday. Don't think UPS delivers on Sunday.

Your #1 and #2 points exactly my thoughts also. I don't go there anymore.

That's too bad. Strange to not hear about certain people until they die. I will remember her beauty and she always seemed to play good characters during her career.

That answers my question. I have my original with the little foot prints on it that I keep in the safe deposit box.

What did you see on the road today?

Brodrick Crawford makes that show and liked the end when they give you some driving tips/advice. Do enjoy watching old shows for the cars you may see. -
A few years ago I renewed my license and gathered up all the required papers (birth certificate, current utility bill, and a couple of other things). They looked at none of them! Always wondered what someone does if they don't have their birth certificate. Also wonder why I need all that paperwork when I already have a license?! I'm still me and isn't your drivers license the "go to" for proof of who you are anyway?

The USPS strikes again! Expecting a package yesterday and go to the cluster mail box and find a key to one of the big units. First of all, the key is marked #1 but that wouldn't work so tried #2 and found a small box for a neighbor on the other side of our loop. Took it over there. In the mean time I have an email saying "Delivered". I'm guessing it's in one of the other locked boxes and just have to hope and pray there's an honest and kind neighbor that will bring it to me. Nothing yet.

Great looking model! Thanks for the paint color info as it looks perfect and I need to get some to build mine. Don't worry about your color choices as I found in looking at reference photos you hardly see the same colors twice.

Thanks for the info. What's your thoughts on the kit? I've already ordered mine so hopefully you think it looks good enough. -
Thanks. This is an interesting story and a nice tribute.

Sorry about that. I forgot about this policy from a while back.

I'm not a fan of KISS but really enjoyed Detroit Rock City. 4 guys who are KISS fanatics and their adventures trying to get to the concert in Detroit. I recall some KISS concert footage at the end of the movie.

The back and forth information about this virus problem. For the past several weeks I've been reading about the Delta variant and how all the unvaccinated people are getting it and not the vaccinated ones. Now this morning I read that 3/4 of people who have got the variant were vaccinated. Which is it?!

Still have my Matchbox cars from the 60's and still buy them if and when I see one I like. Limited to what I might see at the department store. Have tried looking for them online but I must not be looking at the right sites. Still buy Hot Wheels too. They make some cool "real" cars but there is a lot of junk also.

Right there with you. I used to go with the coupon and would at least walk out with a can or bottle of paint. Now they get no money from me. Brilliant way to do business.

Bummer! Have liked ZZ Top from the beginning. Both formats; old and new.

When I walk my dogs I NEVER let them stop at neighbors yards. We have plenty of places for them to relieve themselves. There are piles and piles of dog stuff along our walk and I always have a thought or two as I pick up my dogs "doo" lying right next to some that another person left but that's what I do as a responsible dog owner. I have seen the full bag on occasion and wonder what the person was thinking. You did half the job but you never thought this whole procedure through? I have a little hip bag that I use to put the full bags in on our walk. Really not that tough.

That pickup is perfect just the way it is. -
Updating my "irked" subject about Salvino's wanting me to pay $10 to replace a cracked window in their kit......They said they had mixed up my replacement window with a guy who broke his window so never mind about the charge.
