  1. This COULD be the Best Meme of All Time. Thanks! ?
  2. Good to see you're still among us, Carl, and good to see you again! As you can see, you've been missed! Get well soon! ?
  3. OMG that is AWESOME! I've never seen it before! Was just about to head over to eBay to hunt for when when I saw that it's 1/16, which is of no interest or use to me...BUT! I don't see any reason I can't do the same thing in 1/25! Thanks so much for posting it!
  4. Before Carrie Underwood, there was Kelly Clarkson, with this BADASS tune:
  5. Not everyone is clear on the concept of "Joke," apparently....
  6. I like doing them and would do more, except I've discovered that for me, a WIP thread is a personal Kiss of Death, ensuring that the build will never get finished and it will end up, like far too many others, on the Self of Doom. And I'll bet I'm not the only one.
  7. Mine's not factory sealed. I built it in 1969 (one of my better efforts of the time) and it's about due for a good cleaning. I still have the cool old original box and all the unused custom parts, too.
  8. This obviously from the same mind that writes all those "The more you spend, the more you SAVE!" commercials.
  9. I have four I consider particularly rare. 1. AMT '66 Barracuda, mint, new in box. 2. AMT Sonny & Cher Mustang, mint, new in box. 3. MPC '33 Chevy Panel Wagon, complete in original box but started (painted). 4. Mini-Exotics Mirage transkit for Ford GT Mark II.
  10. What he said! VERY MOST WAY EXCELLENT time machine right back to about 1963. Very well done and model on!
  11. General Patton said something along the lines of, "Almost any reasonably good plan, executed right now with vigor, is infinitely preferable to the perfect plan executed sometime next week."
  12. Magnificent work! VERY well done and model on!
  13. I started one of these in 1969 (!) and didn't get much further than painting the body and vinyl top. Dug it out and kicked it through the goal posts for a 2021 Bring Out Your Dead group build. The main thing I remember about it was being glad it was finally off the To-Do List.
  14. Have you seen my sig line? ?
  15. That's a fine, fine eulogy and I'm sure that somewhere, Al is beaming with pride. ?
  16. Me too. I miss Carl, the site's #1 cheerleader. I hope he's okay and hope he at least pops in to say hi. God Bless you, my brother!
  17. Never had it, but I did have the Aurora version, which sort of lives on today as the DB 4.
  18. This is such a great tune I'm gonna risk it.... For some reason my clock radio is set to a "Christian rock" station, and I woke up to this this morning. It was such a catchy tune I had to find out what it was. Thought it was a particularly appropriate message for today. Happy Easter, everyone! ?
  19. I can remember when The Borg was just a scary sci-fi fictional concept.
