  1. Shiny!
  2. I like the color! What is the paint?
  3. I'm not a fan of convertibles, but your model neatly does away with the funky looking roof of the AMT '67 Impala, making this the most accurate looking model from that kit I've ever seen. Well done and model on!
  4. I wasn't a fan, but they sure weren't the worst looking things on the road in those days.
  5. And, like KK, it's fun to look at for a minute, but I'd rather somebody else have to pay for and feed it.
  6. Oh yeah. I could work with that. And I'm sure you can, too.
  7. Did anyone else watch The Sinner on USA network last year? It was pretty good. Just read that they've signed for a second season.
  8. It needs some George Barris fake exhausts coming out of the front fenders, then it would be perfect.
  9. Here's a couple new ones. The '72 Nova, I'll try to give it one of my weekend fixup makeovers, just improve the OB's original vision a little. The Aurora/Monogram 250 GTO, I might just clean it up and see if the red plastic will take a polish. Were the Monogram repops molded in red, or is this a real original Aurora?
  10. Wow, Pack Rat, that came out great! You are truly a Glue Bomb Hero!
  11. Looking good! By amazing coincidence, just this week I started playing around with my own '65 roadster glue bomb resto again after laying off of it for a year or so. With a little luck I could have it ready for paint in a couple weeks.
  12. I didn't notice before, but looks like you cleaned up the taillight bezels too. Been thinking of trying that, although I've been trying to stay with kit parts whenever possible. But yours definitely look better. I have been thinking of replacing the front turn signal lights with aluminum tubing. These NEVER looked right on the AMT kits, from the original '63 annuals right through the latest reissues.
  13. Come to think of it, it would look MUCH more menacing in satin black.
  14. Check out nail polishes at Walmart or Sally's. Just about any crazy color you can think of, somebody's made a nail polish of it. (Except, for some reason, '68 Pontiac Verdoro Green.)
  15. Very nice! I especially like what you did with those exhausts. I love these AMT '63-'67 annual Vettes. Right now I'm working on a '65 roadster, and just last night started trying to disassemble a particularly gluey bomby '67 coupe glue bomb. First time I've ever had to cut a chassis away from a body with a razor saw. That one will be a challenge!
  16. And yet it's not much worse than many of the real 1958-60 cars!
  17. Is Testor Lime Ice in the ballpark? https://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/testors/lacquer-paint/lacquer-sprays
  18. Very nice, very clean build. Model on!
  19. You know who'd love that thing? Counting Cars' Horny Mike, that's who. All he'd have to do to it is paint it dog-vomit green and he'd be good.
  20. '57 Chevy, '56 and '57 Fords, '53 Stude, Avanti, and the 260 Cobra were all originally Trophy kits IIRC. I just read the Tim Boyd article on the Trophy kits not that long ago.
  21. Can't find anything to fault. Could be either a 9560 or a 9561 Camaro, depending on what color the engine is....

Very nice, and that color looks great on it. I just painted a model with that same paint, over black primer, and yours came out much darker and richer than mine. Mine's more of a coppery color than yours. I wonder why?
  23. +1 Agreed! Drive on!
