  1. Here's one I started a while back and need to get back to: Revell '34 Ford 3W body on the MPC '32 sedan delivery frame, engine, wheels and tires, and it will use the '32 radiator.
  2. Very very VERY nice and something you don't see every day! Extremely well done and model on!
  3. https://simpleflying.com/rolls-royces-electric-plane-breaks-the-world-speed-record/
  4. Ozark is back! Since it's been 2 years since I saw it, yesterday I reran eps 9 and 10 of Season 3 to try to get myself back up to speed. Really glad I did. Just finished the first ep of Season 4. They're back, with the pedal to the metal. Good stuff!
  5. Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson in the same day. And these things happen in threes.
  6. One of his lyrics was running through my mind last week as I re-watched Glengarry Glen Ross: "Desperation, desperation's in the air, it leaves a stain on all your clothes and no detergent gets it out." I guess the relevant lyric for today is "What about work? It's a crock and then you die."
  7. Very interesting and creative. Great finish, too! Well done and model on!
  8. Thinking more of trying to do something with the hideous nose, and then turn the ugly roof into a sedan delivery thing. One thing to keep in mind is that although it somewhat resembles a C3, it's actually based on a C2.
  9. That little moment between him and John Rich in the boardroom was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. John Rich is an AWESOME human being.
  10. I think anyone there would tell you that street racing is very different from track racing, and this episode might have been the best example of that I've ever seen. Birdman just doesn't seem to be able to get that Camaro sorted out. He's been on a bad luck streak since he totaled the Firebird.
  11. Good race this week! And both of Memphis's losses were driver error--amazing! Meanwhile...
  12. I'd have thought the same thing about the backbirth '68 Corvette that Round 2 is about to reissue. I'd have been wrong.
  13. Life is a lemon and I want my money back. RIP Meaty, you will be missed hard.
  14. I have a restorable glue bomb of one, but no particular desire to do it until I can figger out how to knock the worst of the ugly off of it. Which, knowing me, will probably never happen.
  15. Yah, that's what I say--that's about the best that can be done with the dreck that comes in that box.

Very nice, very clean, excellent results with that Rustoleum Blue, a paint I like a lot! Model on!
  17. Me too. But our talent levels are obviously much different. Luckily in this case, mine are much lower.
  18. Great! Should be a big seller on planet Erath!
  19. Very cool, and great save! You just reminded me I have an original survivor of this kit I want to restore this year. Model on!
  20. The MPC '67 Corvette and very common '74 Vette roadster (recently reissued) frames should also be usable. The frame from just about any 1/25 C2 or C3 Corvette should be usable, in fact, perhaps with a few minor mods here and there. You might have something suitable in your junkpile.
  21. Rubbing alcohol will remove BMF residue quite handily, but can also remove some types of paint. Test first. Next time I have the problem, I'm gonna try Sandboarder's tape trick first.
  22. I'm thinking it doesn't, but if it doesn't, they're in the roadster kit.
