  1. Every so often I get mine off the shelf, open it up, take another look at the body, and put it right back. Has the Italeri one been produced recently? I built their GTO and it was a pretty nice kit. If I really wanted to do a 250SWB, I think I'd try to find an Italeri.
  2. Mine had some of them but I didn't see the '62 Pontiac nor the Honcho.
  3. My last order was just before the site shut down. Carol told me the same thing last fall--"Spring 2018."
  4. The 1/32 '63 Vette sounds interesting. I think it could find its way into some model airplane dioramas or displays.
  5. Got another Molotow. I bought a 1mm a couple months ago but now that I need it, I can't find it. Today I NEEDED it because I'm doing the window trim on a silver car--my beloved Silver Sharpie simply vanished against the paint. Bought a 2mm, used it for the first time, WOW I'm a believer! It won't replace my Silver Sharpies but it'll get used for certain things. For the window (and wheel well) trim I was wondering if the 4mm might have worked even better. The 2mm was only barely wide enough.
  6. Hey, it's a Twister Mustang! (You could play Twister on it!)
  7. Me too! I have an AMT '64 but would like the '65 even more. And then can we have a '64 or '65 Skylark GS, please?
  8. You must be way older than me. We didn't have any of that stuff.
  9. Somebody had a resin '65 4-4-2. I had one. I looked it over very carefully, and decided that it would exceed my skills (or, at least my patience and attention span) to get a model out of it that would be even marginally acceptable. I sold it down the road at a small loss. Oh well.
  10. I just saw one at Hobby Lobby. $23.99. But then there's the 40% off coupon. So they're around and not hard to find at all.
  11. I kinda dig it!
  12. Great pic, great looking car! I was going to add if that was a vintage photo or modern until I read the wall.
  13. Very clean! I love fast 'n' easy projects like this.
  14. In the old days, people would have said, "The herd must be thinned."
  15. How long would it have taken for six of them to be killed? I'm guessing somewhat longer than five days.
  16. Very nice! I bought one of these a few weeks ago with no particular plan in mind. You are giving me ideas! Well done and model on!
  17. And you just missed them for $8 apiece at Ollie's, just a couple months ago. Well, that means there are a lot of them floating around, anyway.
  18. Why did they need a $14 million pedestrian bridge there anyway? I see stoplights and a perfectly good walkway about 50 feet away. I suspect somebody's pockets got lined with public "infrastructure" funds.
  19. Yup. Most of the Revell stuff is now in the disorganized random folders at the top. You gotta look through all of them to find anything.
  20. I go to my Michaels maybe 4-6 times a year, always with a coupon. And about half the time I walk out empty-handed. I HAVE found a few things there (not kits) that aren't available at AC Moore or HL, though.
  21. Anybody remember an east coast injected Cougar funny car named The Finagler?
  22. Me too. Of course, I always had pretty much that reaction to the original, too. It just never appealed to me at all.
  23. Wow, DEL, you are doing GREAT work. It looks better than the one resin '67 2DS body I've seen. I'm planning to try one of these myself, using the top from a backbirth Monogram 1/24 '69 Camaro. I saw someone do this once to make a Supernatural 4-door, and it looked pretty good. If the top doesn't look "right enough" to suit me when I've got it on, I'll just drive on and call it a phantom '67 Impala "formal top." Oh, BTW, do you know that there's a diecast 1/24 Supernatural Impala available? It's pretty darn nice, too--all except the top, where there's something funky going on. Yours already looks better. Drive on!
  24. I agree with all this, except for the compressor I'd go to Walmart and get (another) Campbell-Hausfeld. Above all, keep it simple!
