  1. Imagine towing an original Cobra around town--much less cross country--on a single-axle trailer today!
  2. Any possible chance the Mystery Kit could be the MPC '33 Chevy Panel?
  3. Same here. I have one of the trucks, 2 or 3 of those trailers, and at least three unbuilt Cobra kits, along with a good built one I did in the '90s and a genuine "survivor" I built in 1966 or '67. But I'd gladly pay for a few of those decal sheets. Would love to have about a half dozen of them.
  4. I have a very distressed promo of that, molded in black. I hope to restore it. I've got a reissued kit (which I plan to build as a custom) for all new stock chrome. It has some severe sink marks in the trunk over the screw pillars. I'm working on filling them. If I can get them flawless, I plan to paint the trunk black and then polish out the rest of the black plastic. If that doesn't look good, I'll probably paint the whole thing Emberglow.
  5. I think there's a half bottle of maraschino cherry juice in the fridge...

    VW Race

    Different and therefore interesting!
  7. Very nice! That color looks great on it, too.
  8. Clean and amazing. I like your diorama background, too.
  9. Different and interesting!
  10. Very nice! I always enjoy seeing one of these built. It's one of my favorite kits, even though I've never actually built one. Maybe 2018 will be the year.
  11. Thanks! I might have to pick up one of these just for the wheels.
  12. That is just completely badass looking!
  13. The Dew-vil made you dew it!
  14. Someone just posted a built Revell snapper Under Glass, and I took a good look at it. Only thing I can see that's "too short" on it is the cowl induction bulge, and yes, that's too short. Is that what you meant? When you said "greenhouse," I first thought you meant the roof area. But I'm not seeing any obvious problems there. Did you mean it's too short in length, or in height (if that's what you meant)?
  15. I know exactly what you mean about this wretched backbirth of a kit. But it's a good one to practice skills on, and have fun with, and it looks like you did both. Drive on!
  16. Ain't that the truth! I minored in Psych at school and I'd swear at least half the professors were certifiable. (Come to think of it, that was a long time ago. Nowadays, 80% or more of ALL professors in ALL fields seem to be insane.)

Very nice, very clean! Drive on!
  18. Very cool. Looks like it should have a trunk full of moonshine.
  19. Never thought I'd ever see a Pinto I'd call badass, but you've built it! Different and therefore interesting. Model on!
  20. Very nice! Do those Keystones come in the kit?
  21. You're getting a fabulous finish on that thing. It really looks the part. Drive on!
  22. Wow, that came out nice! I just finished restoring an old glue bomb GL so I'm especially appreciative of your pics and writeup of this new one at this time. Well done and model on!
  23. Wow, that came out great! What are you doing next?
  24. That came out pretty darn nice. Well done and model on!
