  1. You can't 3D print scripts, hinges, straps, etc. To obtain acceptable results, one doesn't need CAD or other involved applications. It can be done with minimal equipment.
  2. Karma's a b*tch.
  3. Nothing about a release date on the FB page.
  4. I contacted a seller on ebay about this very thing. I asked him what did he mean, "appears complete"? Either it is or isn't. No maybe, perhaps or possibly. I pointed out that he had the instructions (seen in his pics) 1 and could inventory the parts to be accurate. Since I can't repost his reply verbatim here, let's just say he told me to go to hell.
  5. Kosutte Gin Sun Uschi Van Der Rosten Metallic Powders C-1 Metalizer
  6. Very nice, Rob. Weathering a Panzergrau vehicle doesn't always come out well; but, it's subtle enough to look great. I love this kit. One of my favorites, along with the Tamiya Horch 1a.
  7. Outstanding, Chris! The weathering is downright superb.
  8. I have two first issue (1965) Johan Chrysler Turbine Car kits (GC300-149) in the blue flat box. Both have the original intact, somewhat grungy shrink wrap; albeit, it's loose fitting due to age.
  9. Your description isn't very....well...descriptive. It'd be a lot easier to offer the correct information if you'd post a picture of the actual decal sheet. Are the stripes separate? Are both stripes on the same piece of carrier film? Is there a color/clear between them? Seriously, just post a pic and we can go from there.
  10. The past tense of "throw" in certain parts of Noo Yawk is "trun", as in, "I trun a scare in 'im."
  11. As previously mentioned, contact the guy about the particular item you're interested in. I believe he casts them to order.
  12. The "cane work" isn't actual rattan/woven cane. It was hand painted onto the bodywork. Imitation Cane Work on Motor Car Bodies
  13. Yes, really. The item number is VMD24002, which is for the 1/24 Land Rover. The scale indicated on the instruction sheet is a typo, common in Minor listings. See HERE. It is listed under "Detail Sets 1/24 Scale". This is the set for 1/35 Italeri, Tamiya and other LWB Land Rovers.
  14. Why? Innumerable parts, like engines and long OOP things like bodies for Johan and MPC Mopars are cast by guys everyone does business with.
  15. This workable leaf spring set from Minor would be an interesting mod. It's for the Italeri Land Rover LWB but it should work with this kit.
  16. The canework is similar to what was applied to the 1931 Cadillac Town Brougham This is what the cane strips look like.
  17. You can use Model Master Acryl 4210 Verdigris and MM Acryl 4742 Insignia Blue FS 35044. Mix in the same ratio. The only place which has the Verdigris in stock is Sprue Brothers. The Insignia Blue Acryl can be bought anywhere.
  18. I use Floquil Marine Colors Verdigris mixed with a few drops of Testors 1719 FS 35044 Insignia Blue. Since Floquil paints are defunct, you can use Testors 2765 Turquoise with Testors 1719 FS 35044 Insignia Blue mixed in a 5:1 ratio. it'll give you an exact match.
  19. I could scratchbuild a master pattern(s) of the vent. I have extra extremely small brass exhaust vent louvers from a 1/35 scale M1 Abrams tank PE set which could be used. Phil, if you could provide me with the exact full scale dimensions of the vent, I can get started immediately. I'll make four so you could bulk cast them for future needs. Let me know if you're interested.
  20. My condolences to you and your family. My mother passed away 30 yeas ago on July 3.
  21. The '60 Windsor used a unibody frame. The Lindberg '64 Mopar chassis would be better. These chassis have a 119" scale wheelbase and you would only need to cut the chassis at the area indicated and insert a 3 mm wide piece of styrene to obtain the proper scale 122" wheelbase. It'll take you all of ten minutes.
