Are Atlantis kits sold anywhere ?
SfanGoch replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Don't make any difference to me. No Hobby Lobbys in NYC. They're HQ'ed in Deer Park; so I could plan a visit to check the place out and maybe buy what I want at the same time. Megahobby, Entertainment Earth, Hobbylinc, Auto World Store, Michigan Toy Soldier, Tower, Freetime Hobbies, CultTVMan Hobby Shop are just a few of the online stores carrying Atlantis kits. -
Are Atlantis kits sold anywhere ?

In the Atlantis Models update email I just received: Also look for Atlantis kits in your local Hobby Lobby! We are very pleased to get our kits in a national hobby retailer. -

To paraphrase, if I never saw it before, it's new to me. That applies to model kits, too. If a casual modeler never saw a particular kit, especially a 40+ year old reissue, it is, in fact, something new to that person.

preparing resin parts: soak in Simple Green?
SfanGoch replied to fiatboy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Spraying the parts with Clorox All Purpose Cleaner, and a little scrubbing with a toothbrush, works as well. -
Like the title says, no more font option in the toolbar. Is this a result of the recent board updates?

Have you checked your car lately?

Clever, man. For those who don't get the reference -
As long as German-occupied Heller reissues the 1/35 SA330 Puma, I'll be happy.

True; but, we've seen worse on model kits. -

I liked Win XP. Until my Toshiba Satellite dropped dead. I'm trying some recovery programs to revive the HD. Almost there.

Bah! I can still successfully hit on hot early twentysomething chicks, among other things . One of the benefits of living a block from the beach.

I believe blue Kool Aid, to wash down the green bologna sandwiches, is the only beverage option at state-level Greybar Hotels. For an expanded menu, you need to upgrade your accommodations to one of the Club Fed resorts. Tutti mangiano bene!

Hey, wingnuts are family and they use the expression in front of mixed company (enlisted, NCO's and Officers of all pay grades) all the time. After all, it is a term of endearment and respect. Heck, we had a Supply Sergeant in C/1/506 INF named Goodman. His nickname was "B.F.", as in B.F. Goodrich, because he was shaped like a stack of semi tires.

I used to see that kind of "yard art" whenever I drove by the trailer parks across from Teterboro Airport on Moonachie Avenue in Carlstadt, NJ. when I drove linehaul for Con-Way.
