  1. Very nicely done - it looks like you had fun building it!
  2. I'd say you're off to a good start! I know what you mean about the heat - many years ago, I lived in Houston and I remember doing most of my painting at night.
  3. Very nice work!
  4. Very nice - looks like a scale version of a Chip Foose "Overhaulin" build!
  5. If I didn't know otherwise, I would swear that I was looking at photos of the actual car - there aren't enough superlatives in the English language to describe how well done it is.
  6. Very nicely done! I remember the original from the TV series and it is a dead ringer!
  7. Very cool - nice seats!
  8. Very nice detail work on the engines!
  9. Whatever color you choose, a very nice build!
  10. My wife had a 1991 with the same exterior color and a fabric interior - we had loads of fun with it! Your model is the spitting image of her car; thanks for posting!
  11. Sweet!

I like it - looks like you had fun building it!
  13. Very nice - Bill Cunningham of ACME built a mid-engine Corvair many years ago and this one invokes memories of that model.
  14. Well executed - engine definitely looks like it belongs there!
  15. Very nice - great job on the molding!

    Beautiful!
  17. You made a silk purse out of a sow's ear - very nice!
  18. Very nicely executed - I really admire the detail and the paint is excellent!
  19. Very cool!
  20. I saw the original car on ABC's Wide World of Sports when I was seven or eight years old. Up until then any race cars that I saw on TV ran on oval tracks or road courses - this car and the 55 Chevy that it was running against went in a straight line. It was the first time that I had ever seen a drag race. I couldn't figure out why they didn't turn corners, but I was hooked. I am now 65 and retired, but watching The Storming Bull on TV started me on a lifelong love of drag racing that continues to this day. Thank you for rekindling that memory and for posting your build.
  21. Wow - I'm sorry that I did not see this earlier! Viewing this build is like taking an online master class in the art of car model building. Thank you very much for posting!
