  1. lambos are another brand i have loads of mostly due to them being parts of volkswagen. First is the hoonigan version from the recent sema show next is one from danton art in belguim and the jumpocan from the 2019 sema show and the liberty walk muira (dont worry its really a kit car) and I'll finish up with a custom countach again from sema this year
  2. I've found the search function on the forum is working much better since the last update,
  3. There's been alternative grilles on ebay recently. they were 3d resin prints if i recall it correctly. It might have been iceman collections that had them
  4. He's been pushing for kye to win and its not sitting well with the others. He seems to think everyone else should just lay down without realising or caring that they are all still in the running to win if ryan misses his tune, except for bobby who he told should be losing to them first round every week and bobby rightly said no to that.
  5. I'm in. I'll be trying to finish my disguised race car escort and now its not a disguised race car I can build it the way I would do in real life. Maybe I'll get it finished this year. I'm not sure which year the kit represents but I have both grille styles so it wont be a problem. I'll need to invest in a lot of decal softener as I plan to do most of the removable panels in carbon fibre to be more a modern style. It will still be cosworth powered and will represent a 1976 car
  6. I would say its your choice, and I'm sure I've seen dioramas with figures bought ready painted. It might not be accepted at a contest but if you're happy just go for it. At the end of the day its still your build.
  7. thats a later issue, the first is in turquoise plastic
  8. and they missed out what it actually means but you guys can look that up in the oxford english dictionary yourselves
  9. I ordered a new large cutting mat on amazon, instead of rolling it up they sent it flat packed in a box bigger than my tv arrived in
  10. Thats a good looking chop, and your scraper tool for the window area is something I'll try to remember. Such a neat trick but well worth it when the glass is fitted, tahnks for sharing it
  11. there's a thread on them somewhere onthe site, i think its called monogram something (possibly the original series name)
  12. The wheels i sent are model a but i have more bits in the pick up box still
  13. He's been doing that since the kill bill films,
  14. I've got an original but its not that complete. I think I may have put the engine and some other bits in the flathead pile i sent you. I'll look in the box to see what wheels are in it
  15. I'll have to be more careful when i use local to me terminology. For example if I was to write about building a wall plenty of people would probably get offended (or people in yorkshire might wonder how i'm building a stream) and the same happens in reverse too with some american slang/dialect. I know theres one word a lot of you guys use to describe high output builders that would get you in trouble over here as it means child abuser in my area. But thats the way of language, terms have different meanings in different areas. Its like the stories about chevy cars that renamed for the spanish speaking countries
  16. Theres a few 3d printed resin v12 lincoln engines on ebay. Some are hot rodded
  17. I'll assume you've seen the hoonigan lambo from sema this year
  18. theres a guy in belgium doing the same thing with 70s lambos, isn't it great what people can do when they dont care what purists think?
  19. Well I thought the 356 ice racer was the wildest porsche but this popped up on my feed today http://www.speedhunters.com/2021/12/burn-your-rulebook-meet-the-half11/ Its even wilder....
  20. Had a parcel returned by the customs service in the usa. Apparently model car parts wasnt specific enough so now I have to send it again. I always use the same terms so I'm stumped as to why it was refused.
  21. I think you'd be just as good using a metal ruler and no11 blade. The cookie cutter just seems like overkill unless you bake too, and your limited to size and shape but if your doing multiple of the same build i guess it would be handy
  22. The engine in the revell c7 vette looks undersized to my eye but I havent measured it. I'm purely going by comparing it to the amt zl1 engine which is very nice and looks about 10-20 per cent larger then the vette engine in every direction so could be used in a 1/24 build, while the revell vette engine cant due to the size diffence.
  23. its available as a kit too, in the bond markings as little nellie. I want to say its an airfix kit but i'm really not sure. they pop up on ebay quite often
  24. wow thats beautiful
