  1. I enjoy driving games but most of the time its playstation and gran tourismo for me. I'm really thinking about the ps5 since the new gran tourismo is out around now
  2. I've ordered from the parts box many times. Shipping wasn't too much more than getting stuff from british places and was pretty quick too. I'm in scotland but i dont think orders to the usa will be any different
  3. If the bleach doesn't work maybe white vinegar would work (might be slow as the aim is to corrode the chrome and copper away) or one of the more abrasive metal polishes could be used carefully to thin the coating down so it can be sanded off
  4. They fit them well and I believe there are kits available now for this purpose.
  5. If drivers around here are anything to go by, indicators/turn signals are an extra cost item
  6. iceman collections has various caddy caps
  7. Is that a chain link roll cage in the last pic?
  8. I got it on amazon, just type in nail striping tape and you should get hundreds of options. If the trim is pretty plain it might work, the trim with lots of fine detail probably wont.
  9. I wouldn't use it for shut lines, its a little thicker than bmf so probably wont sit down in them very well but a soft pencil (b or hb) run along the lines works and the excess wipes off the edges. I think the adhesive should be durable as its meant for finger nails and they take a lot of abuse. It also has the benefit of being designed for use under clear. I haven't tried it for trim or around corners but i think corners would work but again the thickness might make it unsuitable for trim, especially if it has fine details. On the plus side if you order from china you can get 25 rolls for about $3 with free shipping in various colours and metal patterns such as engine turned, delorean style stainless and a variety of other finishes
  10. ac/dc live
  11. The steering wheel looks like a grant wheel but since they are british I assume its another usa brand. The bumps on the springs look home made so maybe some sort of racing part or a traction bars to try to prevent the axle binding up the springs and I'd cut those long bolts down cos they are way too close to the brake lines for any spiritted driving
  12. theres a resin available but this is much nicer https://icemancollections.com/products/buick-215-rover-v8-baby-nailhead-engine?_pos=1&_sid=3b1315e85&_ss=r
  13. where would i find the serial numbers?
  14. have you looked at iceman collections website? He does a number of engines that might work for your merc,
  15. try bestmodelcarparts on ebay, its not decals but tiny photos and they do loads of us vehicles and some vws
  16. My mum has around 20 of the singer sewing machines, some still on the foot power and some converted to electric. Growing up it seemed that every house i visited had one, and now most of them are at mums house in the windows. As well as the complete sewing machines she has numerous of the cast iron legs in the greenhouse for growing tomatoes. I dont know the ages of any of them but all of them are black with the gold scrollwork and one has the scrollwork engraved on but i believe it was done later as I've never seen another engraved one. incidentaly there was a ship wreck on a reef on the small island I'm from that the whole cargo was singer machines which may be where a lot of them came from originally but thats conjecture on my part (but knowing how small islands work it very likelly as I've seen a boat go aground and the crew get rescued and by the next morning anything of any use or value was stripped and hidden but its probably the only time a henhouse has been fitted with radar, lol)
  17. Having a bad week on the boat due to 2 different storms, lost both backup wires for the ropes, lost many ropes and had no more to put out, access gangway is no longer straight and flat and some minor flooding in the steering void that has to be manually pumped out. The worst bit for me is getting into to void as my shoulders are as wide as the hatch. Hopefully we'll get some new ropes today as we cant afford to lose more if we want to stay tied up. oh and we ran out of coffee too
  18. maybe from the lid o the jar?
  19. Can cars get offended (possibly herbie)? its not people being talked about, its objects so the terms aren't offensive for this subject
  20. for the chopped glass its probably easier to make some from the plastic you get in food containers or new dress shirt collars than it would be to cut them down. the pick up might be more difficult than the merc with the curved screen but thinner plastic should hold it shape well enough,
  21. the storyline makes more sense if you watch the loki tv series but there were hints in far from home about the new marvel path of interlinked universes. now disney are in control they're forgetting some people just want to watch a movie as a one off rather than a whole convulated series of movies/shows that interlink together.
  22. theres a 3d resin print body and wheels for the tamiya bug available. Its got the lights on the hood instead of the fenders. the seller i got one from is called arm2017 and is in france but I've seen the same print from various of the 3d print guys
