  1. I'''m liking house of kolor paints. I went a bit heavy with this one but it was my first time using them so i figured if i went heavier i had more chance of even coverage. this isn't photoshopped, thats just my camera struggling with the paint i think. I hope to get pics in the sun once its polished and foiled (not going to be fun, my paints very thick). Theres probably 4 heavy coats of clear on this and i forgot to mark the shut lines so i need to figure out something for that so any suggestions that dont involve stripping the paint would be welcomed. something like use a 4b pencil after final polish maybe?
  2. I was just happy to take part so was very surprised to get third in the volkswagen category. Thanks for putting this on to all at your club

  5. so ford dont let tamiya see or measure the engine in their racecar (obviously they dont want other teams to see whats been done for competition reasons) and somehow its tamiya to blame? makes perfect sense to me that engines in a current race car have secrets they dont want everyone to see
  6. some new arrivals. I'm very pleased to find the cossie motor cos i have an esci escort circuit racer in need of a transplant
  7. I think the tamiya mustang convertible and cobra kits had those tyres along with some of the skylines (r32 and up to r34)
  8. It seemed to resolve itself after about 45 mins, been perfect since then. I only had problems on this site
  9. Hey guys in the UK. I thought you might like to know that LA's totally awesome cleaner is now available from amazon in the uk. It works weel as a paint stripper on our models. If you have any experience of the old formula fairy power spray, this is even better than it was.

  14. Since the start of the virus lockdown in the uk the same 2 drunken neighbours have had a bonfire every night. We have had one night when we could open out windows without having to put up the the stink of god knows what they are burning. I have trouble sleeping if i cant open my windows at night so i'm really getting stressed by it now. One bonfire every few weeks would be ok but every night is beyond a joke and theres no point complaining to the council as they are pretty much closed at the moment.
  15. Cool bug
  16. To be fair to gembella, theiir designs are still much better than the ugly as sin lamborghini urus
  17. I can easy send you a few hundred, I messed up my last order and ended up with 10 thousand of them
  18. I suspect you could save yourself a little work if you use coffee stirrers for the props, they are easy to work with and may be close to the shape. The centre cone would be the hardest parts then
  19. Cool, well worth saving. A museum near me has a collection of these war time crafts, including some by italian pow's. There's also a chapel still in use the same italian pows built
  20. Any of these what your looking for? https://www.bnamodelworld.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=0&zenid=46b0eeb1a11441a5a23307eca0b72abf&keyword=bbs
  21. I used to have a drag racing game when i was a kid. It had an orange 4 lane track and came with 4 half inch long dragsters. I dont think i ever played it as intended but from my hazzy memory you had to roll dice before moving your car. I think my one may have been incomplete too as it was a reject from a charity shop my mum helped out at. I hope someone here might have pics of it as mine is long gone
  22. If you cant get them from scaleproduction there is a seller on ebay called a-modeller (bna modelworld is his web shop) that has a load of older scale production wheels in stock. Shipping isn't much more than from germany or hobby design do a set of metal and resin rims but they dont have tyres
