  1. so using superglue on his front door lock wasn't the right thing to do? As it turns out he's in jail now for other offences (kidnap, assault and more) but there is a video on youtube of him getting his keister kicked by a kid when he tried to rob a local shop previously. heres the video https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-17377089/shop-robber-fought-off-with-sticky-tape
  2. Theres some 3d printed mirror sets on the auction site. each set has multiple mirrors and are in interior and exterior sets. Price didn't look bad to me but may be higher for you guys in the US
  3. Just arrived. This is the second time I've bought this set as my upstairs neighbour stole the previous one of my doorstep.
  4. If you watch ebay.co.uk the finecast versions pop up fairly often
  5. Usually the seat edges will fit to the raised parts in some way. They may wrap around the edge or have some way to connect to the raised part on the base of the seat. It could be a step on the inside of the seat base or it could be a couple of pins. Theres quite a lot of variety sometimes but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Which kit is it? it might help for answers
  6. Sweet
  7. There is a resin trans kit of the early unimog (rounder body shape) out there, unfortunatelly i have no idea who makes it but i believe i saw it on a german unimog specific forum
  8. I tend to use tamiya light smoke (number 19 i think but could be wrong about that) and a brush over the kit chrome and over auto acrylics. It doesn't tend to sit on the high points and gives a nice effect on grilles. I have some ak washes too but i haven't tried them yet
  9. I mean it was photos of real cars on the internet my friend
  10. Great weathering mate, nice to see a tractor
  11. Cool project Mihai, its nice to see someone building one of these. I've seen a few on some of the russian stance blogs and wondered what they were
  12. I would try flatting and painting first as i recently attempted to repaint a bentley after stripping it and some nastiness is in the metal in a few spots. I think the nastiness in mine is a silicone due to how the paint is reacting but if the current paint is good use it as a base to save yourself some pain.
  13. Why not? what if you have an accident and need assistance? thats taking at least 2 cops, a paramedic crew out of circulation while they deal with an accident that could easily have been avoided if you had stayed home. Suppose one of those people dealing with you had the virus but didn''t realise? thats everyone thats dealing with your accident now exposed needlessly along with your mother. If the guidance that everyone that gets it passes it on to 3 people is right that a minimum of 6 people passing it onto 18 others, those 18 then pass it on to 54 people and they pass it on to 162 people. I'll let you do the maths from here but going out for a drive is not the thing to do. I know everything feels weird but it shouldn't feel normal, we're living in a strange time so everyone has to do their part to protect other people too.
  14. I think i would do the raised section in some thin styrene sheet, then use filler for the edges. Doing a large area like that in filler has the risk of it popping off later
  15. I'm not allowed to leave the house. my anxiety is through the roof as i have some of the high risk conditions. Right now I am the most stressed i have ever been in my life, on the verge of a panic attack and have been since thurs. i cant sleep right and I'm scared to go to my docs. I hope i can do an appointment over the phone so i dont have to put myself at risk or my mum and sister as they have conditions too. me and my sister have both moved back in with mum for the lockdown so at least we aren't alone. I've got some kits with me to build but the motivation just isn't there just now. stay safe folks, think of others before you decide you just have to go out, we are all just trying to get through this with some sanity intact. the fear is the worst thing with this
  16. Very cool, I can safely say i didn't know these existed in the real world
  17. cheers for that, I'm just away to shoot him an email
  18. I wonder how many of the flat earthers are also anti vaxxers and peta members?

  20. they sure aint complete, and personally I think the corrado kits are a bit under size when compared to the mk2 golfs. I'm putting the engine from the mk1 into a mk2 just now so it looks a bit nicer under the hood, but i would much rather put a vr6 into it or any modern vw engine. Kinda surprised nobody makes any really given how popular the vw scene is. Clearly scale do a really nice 16v but they arent trading just now and i used the one i have already. I knew i should have bought a load more
  21. try german ebay mate, they seem to pop up there fairly regular. I got both mine from there
  22. I'd like to know more about the vr6 engine mate, I have a load of kits I want to put a vr into
  23. I guess he's a flatter earther now
  24. rather than just post lots of pics, heres a hundred or so https://frontstreet.media/2020/02/19/drt-2020-miami-das-renn-treffen-assembles-fomo-inducing-porsches/
