  1. wow, beautiful work
  2. It may be like london where gas/diesel cars have to pay a charge to drive in certain areas, while electric get free. Also the japanese trains are extremely punctual and appologise for being even one minute late and give you vouchers for employers to confirm the train is late (unlike most of the rest of the world where you expect the trains to be late so catch an earlier one). A quick google search on japanese trains will show some surprising facts about them.
  3. This arrived this morning, i think it may be a tamiya release of a revell kit as the wheels aren'tlike any of my other japanese kits being 2 pieces opposed to the usual one piece
  4. You'd probably be better using bmf instead of the molotowe pens. The first thing thats going to happen is he'll give it a clean and the molotowe will just be ruined
  5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_auto_racing_colours
  6. I pick out the bits that i like, then say something like a polishing kit will really make that paint pop/stand out
  7. I travelled across to the scottish mainland yesterday to visit the caithness model club show. It was pretty packed with a variety of different builds from wooden sailing boats all the way through to diecast trucks. Unfortunatelly the room it was in had really bad lighting so please dont take my pics as representative of the quality, they were all really well done and many of the diecasts had been redone to liveries of local companies. There are over a hundred pics at the link https://www.flickr.com/photos/111449995@N04/albums/72157707770915545
  8. Wouldn't they have said before now if it was an april fools?
  9. I'm assuming they are made by ucsp. Hows the quality on the wheels? they have some I'd like to get but I've been holding off purchasing until I've seen some used as they are a little more expensive than others on this side of the pond
  10. If the authorities cant or wont do anything there's always the option to report them to those peta nutters and they can make them (in)famous
  11. What a pos, I hope you reported them to the relevant authorities.
  12. Oops, I must have done that when I was dusting it for the pics, I didn't even notice but it will be fixed very soon. Yes it is lace on the roof, actually it was my first attempt at lace
  13. I built this a couple of years ago from the hasegawa van. Other than the slight lowering of the front and the paint it is box stock. It is just a simple curbside build but fits in with my Vw collection,
  14. Cool
  15. Nice work
  16. pm me if one from the revell 3.0 rs will work for you
  17. That turned out great and the unusual colour choices really make it stand out
  18. The wheels in ace's last pic (1552 outlaws) are available in resin but i cant remember who made them just now
  19. Spray glue is kinda hard to get to lay smooth, I tried it and it looked lumpy when the flocking went on, and wasn't easy to remove. I stick with enamel paint in a colour close to the flock colour
  20. I removed the stock arches from the mustang and then assembled the chassis with the wheels. I used them as a guide for gluing the spoons on, and the stock arches were used to give the edge detail and also helped give the spoons some more shape and remove the bubble look. There's some pics in the build thread on here that might show this better than my explanation
