  1. yeah the ukrainian lots items look really nice, but $45 (bmw) with p+p on top for an engine is a bit much when eightyone can have them delivered for $30 (not bmw) from hong kong. But for a decent audi a4 road car I would probably buy one set anyway for my vw family collection as I prefer the road cars to the race.
  2. thanks, I'll keep a look out for them. I was thinking the ukrainian lot ucsp I think but their stuff is kinda expensive
  3. thanks for that, I'll need a few of them. I also hope someone does a stock interior conversion for the audi and e46 so i can do some stance builds from them
  4. Very cool, I really like the roof swap
  5. I think most forums cater for them, scale and the material is unimportant really, but make sure to include it so people know its a smaller scale. There is a resin cast section lower down the menu page with resin/diecast but i think they are more modified pre built (I'm probably wrong on that)
  6. Where did you see an audi a4? I see a chevy cruze, 2 bmws and a pug 206. The only mention I saw for the audi in the link, was in the comments. I'm not saying it wasn't there, only I didn't see it in the pics or original post and I want one if its true
  7. Tonight on I saw it online so it must be true, upsize your car with gas station airlines
  8. Bondic is the uv activated glue, if you do a search there is a thread here somewhere that explains it better than i can
  9. A sale section would just end up being page after page of complaints about the prices, sure the high ebay price threads are kinda interesting/fun to read but generally they aren't about members. If there was a sales section it would be about members and only lead to memebers leaving or bad feeling. Lets just leave the selling for other places and keep the community on even keel. Theres enough division in the real world, we dont need it here in our plastic playground
  10. lovely colour choices. nice choice of rims too
  11. There's also the fujimi curbside old mini kit which I believe has a set of 12" steels included. If you can find one of the 70s shape honda civic they might have wheels and tyres that would fit, or any of the early smaller japanese cars may have something but I dont know too much about them
  12. nice project, I like seeing the more industrial pick ups
  13. Why not just cut one out of thin sheet and use one of the readily available pe frames. If you print your plate out on photo paper and trim sellotape to raise the letters a coat of clear will give a decent looking plate,
  14. For what its worth a couple of years ago revell de had avote for what kits people would like to see done, and the austin allegro was pretty near the top in votes, but I suppose it would sorta fit with the trabants and 2cv etc. Much as it was car I didn't like when my parents owned 2, I would build a kit (funky gasser/street freak style) of it simply because its something a little different and the square steering wheel is kinda cool even if the car is a bit of a dog
  15. Cheers for the information guys, seems kinda odd that tamiya and esci did the same rally version
  16. With the popularity of vw camper vans I'm surprised there hasn't been a 68-79 bay window done. They would appeal to a lot of people and a lot of the parts are already in current kits.
  17. If its the really nice metranga merc, I believe it was mastered by Rik Hoving but I could be wrong
  18. There a revell model a roadster on amazon for $425 at the moment, and only $75 shipping to the uk. Not as extreme as the previous examples though
  19. I'm glad it made sense, I know some thing s can get lost between American English and British English
  20. Thanks, I might have to get a couple of them now to go with the tamiya versions
  21. I've tried it to hold glass in and while it doesn't seem to fog the glass, it does need to go on a rough surface for a mechanical bond so I wouldn't use to glue glass directly, But if the glass has an overlap on the body that is hidden from the exterior you can run a bead of it along the edge of the glass onto the scuffed up body with just enough over the edge to hold the glass in place. Think of those little triangle sticker things you get to hold photo corners and you'll maybe get the method I'm trying to explain
  22. Has anyone else noticed how many of his items have pics bumpers etc, but are sold as body only in the title?
  23. Is the audi a rebox of the tamiya version? I dont recall italeri or esci doing one
  24. A few early aoshima club racer versions seem to be listed on some auction site with pe but I cant tell from the pics what it includes. There are 3 there just now and you may have better eyesight than me. Put .co.uk instead of com for the auction site
