you want vantablack (the blackest black) but then you'd have to deal with anish kapoor (worth a google to find out why the art world have an intense dislike for him)

A bit of a lucky bargain, the esci escort kits seem to hold their value pretty well so I was pleased to get this incomplete one for about 20 quid. I thought it was the rally version but when it arrived it turned out to be the circuit racer version. The decals are toast and theres no instructions or tyres but I'm very pleased. I also got a tamiya toyota celsior and a load of humbrol acrylics

Prevent maskingtape from pulling paint with it?
stitchdup replied to PierreR89's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I used to have this problem and got to the point I was using 600 grit to prep the body. I then found duplicolour clear plastic primer (tamiya safe, not sure about other brands) and find a couple of light coats of it, left to get tacky then given normal primer seemed to work for me. Also when removing the tape I warm it slightly with a hairdryer to soften the glue, and pull it back along, almost bent flat back over itself (almost flat back) rather than away from the body so theres only tension between the tape and paint at the end. If you pull it away at 90 degrees it will put more strain on the paints adhesion. think of it like pulling on something thats been clingfilmed, if you pull it the whole lot moves and this is similar to what happens when pulling tape at too steep an angle. -
when you finish using it, turn it upside down and give a short squirt. it should empty the stem of paint

Tom Petty seems to influence most guitar music, I cant remember many artists that dont list him, even ice t has him down as an influence for his bodycount group -

1/24 Revell 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS 2'n1
stitchdup replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The lowrider rims in these are pretty nice, maybe too big for the car but the size is good if you want to build a lowrider style truck or suv. -
The hasegawa jeep is was last available in the egg girls series, it comes with 2 resin girls and has some Japanese style graphics but is still the military version otherwise. hlj or 1999 might be the best bet for finding one

We have to remeber without the drugs we'd still be listening to bing crosby (nothing wrong with that, just an example) so they sure gave us something new, and something to blame for gabba music, lol

What did you see on the road today?
stitchdup replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Is that just an engine on the trailer, or does it power some machinery? like an early pto drive or something? -

It might be to test out cooling in different tempratures or something like that. land rover didn't do that so now the Aussies buy Japanese 4x4s -
found this from a google search. I dont know if it is what you're looking for though http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/6/t/13623.aspx

You may be best trying one of the stores that sell their product. Off the top of my head hiroboy could be worth asking as they seem to carry a lot of their stuff so I would imagine have contact details

Very nicely done, especially from these kits. I built the version with a solid roof and the roof was 1/8 of an inch too short
