  1. I'd never have guessed it was a capri under that body, I found a near identical looking car that was frua bodies bmw. I wonder if that would have sold as well as the actual capri did?
  2. Ah well , it was a newsreport about a woman that bought lotto tickets with a stolen credit card, then got arrested when she tried to claim the the 50k, and the person driving her got her car impounded for driving with a suspended licence. I think it was in canada
  3. I hope this link works https://uk.news.yahoo.com/woman-steals-credit-cards-buys-092329425.html
  4. I'd like to see some newer vw golfs, but they would have to be in 1/24. I would also like a 1/24 scirocco as the 1/25 amt engine bay needs a lot of work to be correct (I have one in progress) Some rs audis would also be cool
  5. I tried a few days ago, I know what it isn't and I really thought I was right, lol
  6. c'mon guys, this isn't facebook, you gotts remember where you are
  7. who's gonta build one now? I'd love to see it with the weirdness
  8. Just out of interest what scale is your magnum van? I have the un version and the camper version and one is 1/24 and the other 1/25 but comparing the bodies together there is no difference in width or length
  9. I'm sure now you've said about the connection you and your brother have with this car, that the fine people on this site will be looking through their scrap boxes to help you. Unfortunatelly I have nothing you need but there's a lot of really good folk on here. They've helped me out and I am sure they will help you out too. I wish you all the best for this project
  10. yeah the ukrainian lots items look really nice, but $45 (bmw) with p+p on top for an engine is a bit much when eightyone can have them delivered for $30 (not bmw) from hong kong. But for a decent audi a4 road car I would probably buy one set anyway for my vw family collection as I prefer the road cars to the race.
  11. thanks, I'll keep a look out for them. I was thinking the ukrainian lot ucsp I think but their stuff is kinda expensive
  12. thanks for that, I'll need a few of them. I also hope someone does a stock interior conversion for the audi and e46 so i can do some stance builds from them
  13. Very cool, I really like the roof swap
  14. I think most forums cater for them, scale and the material is unimportant really, but make sure to include it so people know its a smaller scale. There is a resin cast section lower down the menu page with resin/diecast but i think they are more modified pre built (I'm probably wrong on that)
  15. Where did you see an audi a4? I see a chevy cruze, 2 bmws and a pug 206. The only mention I saw for the audi in the link, was in the comments. I'm not saying it wasn't there, only I didn't see it in the pics or original post and I want one if its true
  16. Tonight on I saw it online so it must be true, upsize your car with gas station airlines
  17. Bondic is the uv activated glue, if you do a search there is a thread here somewhere that explains it better than i can
  18. A sale section would just end up being page after page of complaints about the prices, sure the high ebay price threads are kinda interesting/fun to read but generally they aren't about members. If there was a sales section it would be about members and only lead to memebers leaving or bad feeling. Lets just leave the selling for other places and keep the community on even keel. Theres enough division in the real world, we dont need it here in our plastic playground
  19. lovely colour choices. nice choice of rims too
  20. There's also the fujimi curbside old mini kit which I believe has a set of 12" steels included. If you can find one of the 70s shape honda civic they might have wheels and tyres that would fit, or any of the early smaller japanese cars may have something but I dont know too much about them
  21. nice project, I like seeing the more industrial pick ups
  22. Why not just cut one out of thin sheet and use one of the readily available pe frames. If you print your plate out on photo paper and trim sellotape to raise the letters a coat of clear will give a decent looking plate,
  23. For what its worth a couple of years ago revell de had avote for what kits people would like to see done, and the austin allegro was pretty near the top in votes, but I suppose it would sorta fit with the trabants and 2cv etc. Much as it was car I didn't like when my parents owned 2, I would build a kit (funky gasser/street freak style) of it simply because its something a little different and the square steering wheel is kinda cool even if the car is a bit of a dog
  24. Cheers for the information guys, seems kinda odd that tamiya and esci did the same rally version
  25. With the popularity of vw camper vans I'm surprised there hasn't been a 68-79 bay window done. They would appeal to a lot of people and a lot of the parts are already in current kits.
