  8. Better to find out on your drive, than when a pedestrian steps out in front or some fool does a u turn. You were pretty lucky there really given the circumstances
  9. Stunning paint! If you want to save some time on cutting tape there are nail art stencils on amazon that could work for your paint jobs. They come in packs of 50 varied for about 3 or 4 quid a pack
  10. Per chance do you mean the skips drive in version of the nomad? The one I have seems to have a half v6, half v8 engine, the body looks like a nomad if you poke yourself in the eye and rub lemon in it. About the only parts in the nomad that are any use is the chassis, suspension and interior. The rest is scrap
  11. Sweet, a great mash up of parts
  12. The 1/1 version looks to have been shortened too, the gap between the rear arch and door is much shorter. Maybe it would work better if it was the stock length instead but it may be a chassis swap, those look a lot like vw/audi wheels
  13. I saw some pe stencils for good year lettering on one of the truck aftermarket sites. They might fit the slicks and have the benefit of just needing cleaned before being reused. It may have been ctm or auslowe that had them
  14. I haven't tried duplicolour over tamiya primer but i have used tamiya paint over duplicolour primer with duplicolour clear and I found it needed longer to gas out or it became sorta tacky when polishing. I also use duplicolour clear plastic primer as my first couple of coats before the normal primer and haven't had any crazing. also I only used spraycans
  15. Sweet, lote of cool touches on this but the gun metal bumpers are my fav feature
  16. Sweet, I've got one of these to build so are there any issues with fit?
  17. No complaints here, you give us this site for free so many thanks
  18. Thats cool, I've never seen one of these
  19. I kinda like the anglia,
  20. One of the large US ambulances just went past my house on flatbed. Not unusial for most of you but I live on the scottish islands
  21. I'd say give it 5 years and they'll be the halo electric cars to get people more interested, at least thats what I would do if I ran the companies
  22. nice! any plans for it? they can make a lot of power for a 4 pot
  23. Oops, thanks for the correction, I'm more into the custom shows than the resto shows so they tend to blend together for me
