another day, another emhar bedford. only the tipper left to get but it doesn't interest me much. This i got for the chassis and front end so i can try doing an old bus. The kit provides the correct chassis for the bus bt the body from the screen back will be scratched. I have some great engineering drawings of the side profile so it might not be too bad. The leftover tank and its base will be added to my old shed dio as a lot of them ended up that way

This car was the first to have many features we get today. It has a lot of old electronics that were custom mad for it. The styling isn't to my taste but i think it looks like this

I'm building the emhar bedford and i've hit a snag with the bed floor. Its a wooden top but is there steel under it? This era is 40 years before i was born and finding reference isn't easy. I'm close to painting it so any help is appreciated

the wheels aren't nice. Either the holes are too small or the rim is too thick but they look off

unless you want to build the drag version, i'd look for the tamiya or new revell 1/24 beetle kits. they are much nicer kits

a bit more progress. for such a modern kit i'm surprised how much clean up is needed. i might have got a bad kit but every part has been slightly out of line and required a lot of scraping. I built the similar era opel blitz and i dont recall it needing much done. Still, it hasn't put me off emhar and i just got the towtruck version. apart from the extra clean up its going together well but i could do with three hands in places. I've also made a start on the tractor but i'm not far enough along with it to show much. Its been a lot of tiny parts, like the icm model a has but it seems a little less daunting than the miniart road tractor which i've put back in the box many times, lol.
