  1. Ah? I always thought it was pure white but white is not always white
  2. Look very well detailed, I want it. Will be interesting to compare next to the old esci and monogram kits. Any release date yet?
  3. I would go for marine blue with white wheels. I,m not an expert but I think it is supposed to be a 70s series 3. This is one of my holy grale kits so it's nice to see noe built.
  4. Cool project. I have the Star kebab version of that kit. Some of the versions have figures with them aswell.
  5. I agree, much better
  6. I will get one, I had the they released in about 2006 but never finished it and now many parts are missing or broken.
  7. Looking forward to that one
  8. Maybe so, atleast the decals looks good. I hope they let the tires cure properly in the molds for the next release. Mine (issued maybe 2006?) had tires that was unusable.
  9. Here is some pictures of the Modelhaus D100: And here is a D/W 300 crewcab I bought from oldr-n-drt here on the forum: Pictured here on the frame of the Emhar Bedford O-series trucks with some resin wheels I bought on Ebay some years ago. I also bought a standard cab 300 series from him. RMR also has a couple of sweptlines on their site but now pictures and listed as out of stock: https://rmrmodels.com/collections/trucks-1
  10. Cool project, what kit are you building from? Monogram? As you already know, my favourite Testarossa is the one you drive in Out Run Here is a link to one very special one: https://www.evo.co.uk/ferrari/18239/the-story-of-the-out-run-ferrari
  11. Ok, thanks. So they changed the suspension halfway trough the 77 year? Interesting, one learns something new eveyrday
  12. The F250 conversion kit looks really nice: But can it be used on other Ford pickup kits aswell? I have an idea of modifying the MPC 80 Bronco into a bull-nose pickup (I got several of the Bronco kits) by using bits from the AMT 73-79 F-series kits (Firestone kit and others) and think that a F250 4x4 long bed would look cool. Would it be very uncorrect to use this conversion kit? How many generations of Ford F-series trucks does this conversion kit work on?
  13. I agree with you on that. Infact, we have a fellow modelclubmember that has sold out his collection. He was collection big time trough the 80s and 90s but have in later years changed his mind and focus. He started selling out his collection at modelclubmeetings and the few shows that we have here in Norway some 10-15 years ago and have been slowly selling everything, last time I met him he was trying to sell off rattlecanw with paint as all the kits are gone. He had a big collection of rare resin truck kits that he never built answell as a even bigger collection of plastic kits (mostly cars and trucks, many asian and european but mostly US I think). I did buy quite a few kits of him during these years.
  14. Really cool looking truck. Love it!!
  15. Looks very nice. I also have a stalled project based on a Matchbox toy. Mine is a 79 and is based on the old AMT kit: I got it this far before the project stalled on me:
  16. Cool to see that. I'm fairly certain that it is a reissue of the old Esci tooling: I got that single truck F12.20 flatroof kit. A good kit with nice partsfit and details.
  17. Yes, that is the kit that I was linking too. I don't know why the game hunter truck picture came up as it is at the back of the thread. Looks like this one is the first issue of that kit from 1977 And this is the second issue of the step side from 1980: And here is the last issue of the stepside, from 1992: I'm going to get my hands on this one. It's the only sqaurebody tooling I so far don't have in my collection. I got the GMC plowtruck and the Madmudder Blazer. I have been thinking of getting the Game truck aswell but so far have not bought it. I also have the old MPC trucks and the old Revell 1:25 tooling. Looking forward to seeing this one
  18. Cool boxart, I want one. I assume that this is a reissue of this one:
  19. I'm no expert on this, is this the same 6-cylinder as one can find in the Moebius pickup kits?
  20. Maybe these could work? https://scenesunltd.com/products/w45-1-24-17-military-style-wheels
  21. So was the kit ever issued as a C800?
  22. Interesting release but I agree with Alan that they are useless without the rims for them. If they also included the rims, I would by several of them for my planned swamp/muskeg truck.
  23. Wow, this looks really nice. Great job on that one!!
  24. Great seeing one of these built. I got the older Esci release in my stash. It sure looks like a good kit and seeing yours I want to build mine
