    I have built this and it goes together pretty well.

    As others have said, pre-fit and mock ups through out the build before paint is ever applied. I went thru this with the flipnose 53 Ford truck. Ya learn this bigtime if you ever kitbash. Overall it looks good other than the hood issue.

    Looking good so far. I'd like to give you an FYI though, those are small block valve covers and shaped differently that the 390 valve covers. Do with the info as you wish. I had the same issue and used BMF on the kit covers. I like the color choice BTW
