'56 Ford Victoria Facsimile Movie Car
Sledsel replied to blizzy63's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Very cool.... Glad you posted the screenshots cuz I knew nothing of the car. -
Looking good. I like these older Nascar builds from when they still used factory panels
-
For a first Nascar build, you are going "all in" and it is looking great.
-
Considering the horror stories I have read about this kit, I have seen several great builds of it.
-
Great job!!! I plan on tackling this kit in the future myself. Any hints to pass along to us other masochist?
-
Good job on this. I like the way you combined parts to make a cool build
-
Nice conversion there.
-
Looks pretty good for a 4th build. I have to agree with others, the door numbers are to low. Still looks good though.

Has anyone tried this chrome marker?

I was going to message and ask about how resistant they finish is to handling. I will update unless someone else gets an answer before me. -

Someone forgot the side wings on the Mustang II..... Seriously, I'd prolly buy all of these just for the fun of building them -

Be VERY careful..... I received a Kenworth W900 from my daughter 2 years ago and went right to building it because she was unsure of getting a truck........ Now this is a portion of what I have waiting. They can be addictive!

Good lookin' Pete' -
Just upgrading existing kits would be wonderful in my opinion. Updated chassis on old screw bottom kits, updated interiors, corrected engines. Those would be welcomed to me at least. Tool the chassis and interior for the Big Al 69 Thunderbird. Even creating new kits using some existing tools like was done with the 67 Chevy. 66 Galaxie chassis fits a 67/8 Galaxie. 55 Chevy chassis fits 56 Chevy, 57 Ford chassis fits 58 Ford, ect. Those things seem like they would be win wins.

Interesting, going thru this post again and noticing how many of the "wanted" kits actually were reissued since the thread began.

As for the Shelby, I think the only part missing is the hood, the other pieces were included in several releases I have.- 33 replies

Correct, that Galaxie is still around. Heck, they could even use the 70 4 door as a tow vehicle. http://www.modelroundup.com/v/vspfiles/photos/AMT-38154-2.jpg- 33 replies
