  1. Nice job!!.. It really is a cool kit and a cooler build. Doing a similar one, but a military unit modified by a returning soldier. Adding a 260 V8 Ford

Very nice... Hope they release this one and I hope they do this like the Chevy II wagon... Curbside and an updated full detail. Hmmm.... off to write Round2 an email
  3. Nice. I keep looking at getting that kit but I do not like the pancaked hood. Anyone know if the older Revell hood fits?
  4. Unfortunately these are the only measurements I know and I do not have a physical set to measure the rest. I do know from the center line of the exhaust port to the top of the manifold is 4 1/2" and from center line of exhaust port to outlet flange is 4"
  5. I am taking Greg's advise and making a set using a SBC as a starting point. If they come out good, when done I would freely lend them out for casting if anyone is interested.
  6. Get the Troppe care and use the MPC interior parts . The MPC stock seats suck tho
  7. Came out really nice. Personally I prefer the AMT kit.
  8. That Bonnie' is gonna look sweet with those meats under it. Those tires always had the right height/with ratio in my opinion. Second to them would be the AMT and Monogram Nascar tires
  9. Yea, I was thinking the same today. The rough part is I believe these ram horn manifolds came on the bigger trucks.
  10. Did a kit ever come with these? I have been unsuccessfully trying to make some from styrene rod. I am thinking maybe solder, but all I found is to big or to small. Anyone know of a kit manifold that maybe could be cut and modified? No, an older SBC manifold just looks like a SBC manifold.
  11. Lookin good!!!! Love the color! Interior color thoughts? Personally I'd do the engine black as it came from the factory, but thats me. What release is this? Mine had no options
  12. Another thought I had for mine was using the decklid from the Revell Street Demons Willys. Also, I saw this coupe photo which looks very close to a 48 Ford roof.
  13. Correct.... I have found stock pieces at swap meets and flea markets
  14. And I cannot stand the seats in the MPC version... I am always looking for the AMT interior.
  15. My $50 flea market "bundle" Cougar sealed, others sealed inside. Happy Happy Joy Joy
  16. Slick
  17. I really like this build. I am saving some of your pics for reference since I just got my hands on one of these. Nice Job.
  18. Even handling after years the silver seems not cured (testors bottle silver)
  19. Having just used several different colors and cans, I have never had an issue with anything unless I used it once or twice then it sat for months before another use. I do turn them upside down to clear the tube, and if they are going to sit I now put the nozzles in a jar of Super Clean or lacquer thinner til I want to use them again. Also, if it is a used/partial can, I warm it in boiling water and shake the bejesus out of it and test spray it. Only issue was a used year old can of school bus yellow and it sprayed thicker than wanted but it was for a Caterpillar engine so I used it anyway.
  20. Super clean build!!!
  21. Looks great. How is the kit itself overall? I have a few unopened ones in the wings
  22. Very nice
  23. Slick!
