Looks Fantastic!
Although it is an old school kit, they still build up nice.
Anyone wanting more chassis detail can use the 65/66 Galaxie suspension with a few mods.
As much as many complain and joke about the "Coke" themed kits, this thing looks darn cool. Makes me want one for my case because she "pops"
Great job on it!!!! TonyK is correct, it is inspiring
I never could bring myself to build mine. The front end just looks too bulky, especially the front bumper.
The Revell 57 Ford suffers from this also.
A side view of either car clearly shows the bumper is quite a bit higher than the bottom of the rocker panel.
I used them on a Freightliner, unforunately, I used the "O" scale 5/8 rivets. Should have used the 7/8"
Taping over them even after primer or paint, they will probably lift off.
The 70 torino chassis is similar, but not similar enough. The 74 is totally different and not very good imo.
The Cleveland from the 70 Mach I would be correct for the 71
Excited to see this as a subject matter. Hopefully the body will be accurate out of the gate, but I am not holding my breath. Seems every new Revell kit I get excited about has a body that needs a tons of corrections.
