  1. Wow... that is super sharp!
  2. Well this is my first big rig build although I started another kit first, but was in over my head (the first "started" is a Freightliner SD/DD). Well, had this I found at a flea market and decided to use it as a warm up. Just a simple mostly box build Revell Kenworth W900 snap kit. Color is Krylon Shimmer Black Cherry with kit decals. I did move the front marker lights to their correct locations, filled the snap points at the rear of the sleeper by making the mount tabs shallower, BMF on the rear fenders, used some leftover pieces of window tint on the sleeper glass and smoothed the seams in the fuel tanks. Really happy with it, just have a few touch ups and some small decal details to add. Now to move back to the SD/DD...... I must add a big thanks to gotnitro for supplying my missing horn and drinkone2 for replacing my damaged decals.
  3. Welcome and very very nice. I looked at your others and they are equally as nice, but the little bit of rust on this build caught my eye. Good job
  4. I like it........... A lot! Perfect 70's vibe emitting from it.
  5. Yea, the kit ones have the right look, but always seemed narrow to me. JMO
  6. Don't use the valve covers that come with the Revell, they look like SBC covers and not tall enough. Other than that it is a nice engine. B&L Resin makes some nice FE covers. They can also be found in the Revell Thunderbolt and the original issue AMT 64 Galaxie
  7. Looks great!!!!
  8. I feel your paint woes...... Looking great. You can never have too many of this kit. So much you can do with it.
  9. Very nice.... Love the paint
  10. I thought the same thing.... I will be watching, this is a nice kit, and will be interesting where the build goes.
  11. Sweet... I have 2 on the back burner so I'll be watching.
  12. I am loving this build... Chopped 32 Ford and Y-block? Does not get much better. Ed does make some really nice stuff, and that body looks great. May I offer a suggestion? Whack off those carbs and use a set from the AMT 56 Ford Victoria. They look much better than those molded on the intake. You may want to look into an air cleaner modification as the ones on the build would not (in 1:1) seal the butterflies. Just some observations. The wheels, stance and bobbed fenders really set it off. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  13. Despite the simplicity of this kit, it is one of my favorites. It just looks "right" To my eyes my Revellogram Shelby GT350 has always looked weird in the front.
  14. Looks Great!!! For all the complaining I read about the windshield opening, it does not look that far off comparing to your 1:1 picture.
  15. Coca Cola Charger.... Hmmmm
  16. LOVE IT
  17. Looks really good. Yea, these headers were a pain, so I made my own for the 37 Chevy I built. I have the Ford and Plymouth, but have not started them yet.
  18. Round2 needs to ante up and come out with some new stuff. Even just updating some of their old stuff. Usually the body is really nice, just update interiors and chassis. They would be like brand new kits. Revell, well, the last bunch of years have been disappointing for me. Their bodies are always messed up, so new stuff from them would probably be the same. Just my cents
  19. Wish it had the roof line shown on the box top....
  20. Local flea market find. $20 for both. Complete and unbuilt
